Whatever your religious or moral perspective, I think you will agree legislating the death penalty for being gay is draconian. As individuals we can't do very much to influence the Sultan of Brunei, but perhaps there is.
As a fellow member of the Commonwealth, our government can raise and discuss the decision and publicly criticise it's harshness. That is something you can influence by signing the attached petition which, at the time of writing, has over 60,000 of the 100,000 signatures required for a government debate.
