I see mean girls at the savoy, it will come I recon next autumn 2022 or spring 2023 it will be in the west end :-) For sure. I was told by a contact that the producer was banking on more TONY noms which delayed her bringing it to the Savoy hence why 9 to 5 went in. It makes sense in the Savoy - the same vein as Legally Blonde and Pretty Woman of course. I don't think I can see it anywhere else, venue wise. We will have to wait and see... SIX should never go back to the Arts, it needs a big venue especially with their fanbase. I agree six needs a medium sized theatre same size as its broadway home. The fan base for this show has gotten poular which I am so happy to see.

It’s Broadway home was actually one of the biggest stages in NYC. It’s not a medium sized theatre.

Always preferred the snark and originality of Heathers which i think in its small way had something to say about stereotypes and fitting in. When I saw this in NYC it just seemed to laugh *at* the stereotypes. Heather Chandler would totally take Regina George in a bitch smack down. Poor man’s Heathers for me

Everytime I am reminded of this production I’m still amazed we’ve not had it yet. Are there still intentions do we know?

I guess they are waiting on the right venue. It's a sure fire hit for London so they'd be mad not to.
I still think the most likely options be it takes the Savoy or Adelphi next year.

It has the right sort of feel for the Savoy - I guess they're aware that the audience for Pretty Woman are also by and large the audience for Mean Girls, and are maybe not wanting to split the audience?
But I would think latter part of next year.

With the movie of the musical coming out I'm not surprised they're having a go at a London run. We rewatched the film yesterday. I'm not sure it would be made today with some of the humour in it but I think you can enjoy it whilst appreciating that.

Has casting begun for this or is it cast already because more than one of the Heathers cast members are making less than subtle hints on Twitter.

I wouldn't be surprised if an announcement was made on a Wednesday as 'On Wednesdays We Wear Pink' is one of the most famous Mean Girls quotes
