another remarkable NT project! Sorry to correct you. It's actuaaly another remarkable Sheffield Theatres project. Pleased you thought it was sublime, though. 🙂

I caught up with this earlier in the week. Having read contrasting reports, I wasn't sure whether it would be my cup of tea. I knew it was about three sets of people in a block of flats in Sheffield, but hadn't twigged that it was the same flat, so it was interesting to see the connections between everyone. I quickly became invested in the characters, and loved the music, especially the rockier numbers, although I have to admit I wasn't struck on some of the choreography. All in all, I really enjoyed it, and have been thinking about it a lot since seeing it, which is always a good thing in my book. A solid 4*.

For a show that is closing in a few months, there are a lot of understudies who go on each night.

Really interesting segment on The One Show just now! Would recommend. Thank you for posting, I caught up on iPlayer - as you say really interesting to see it in the flesh and even see a resident who seemed a lot like Poppy!
