Was at the matinee today and enjoyed this..But not perfect. I only have the movie to compare with. Hugh Bonneville is his usual steady self but for me came up short when the play really needed it most...Intensity...Hugh is no Hopkins..The play itself differs from the movie in regards to the amount of humour..I didnt sit well with it as it didnt feel realistic for the situation at times.. Andrew Havill was great but stand out was Liz White who stole the show for me..Superb! The set has fantastic charm and one moment brought a few gasps from the audience...So overall an enjoyable play that came up slightly short when it mattered most....
