Surely Dreamgirls while it's never been staged over here would be considered a revival because it's over 30 years old.

Weill & Gershwin's Lady in The Dark was nominated as best new musical over fifty years after it was done on Broadway.

I think that Matthew Maher and Louisa Krause would be concerned as the lead roles for The Flick. Rosalie Craig would be for The Threepenny Opera also. Regarding Threepenny opera it should be in best musical revival and Kinnear as best lead musical performer. James McArdle as lead male in Platonov, Geoffrey Streatfield the same for Ivanov and The Seagull with Anna Chancellor for the latter, not sure about the female roles in the two earlier plays. It's difficult to know but it's quite likely that Noma Dumezwemi would be lead actress as Hermione in Harry Potter. Darius would be up for leading role in a musical for Funny Girl. Reports suggest that Zoe Wanamaker has the leading role in Elegy.

They could just move it indoors although scrapping the audience awards wouldn't be a bad thing, it gotten tedious when the same shows have won more than once. I was relieved that Phantom so it wasn't Wicked or Les Mis winning  yet again 

Michelle Terry may not be eligible for Henry V if the "minimum 30 performances" rule still applies. It's a disappointingly limited run.

Surely The Bodyguard would be up for Best musical revival and Beverley knight for best actress?? I think funny girl and Dreamgirls will be big musical contenders next year

I think Beverley will be nominated for The Bodyguard, especially considering she was stronger than Heather and she got nominated, and the role is an nomination magnet!

Yes I agree. Beverley is amazing in the role so I hope she gets nominated. She desveres to win, I was hoping she would win for Memphis last year as she was incredible in that.
