Is there likely to be any reduced tickets in December? I don’t think there will be as it’s Christmas month but maybe TodayTix may do rush for it?

Don’t know about offers but saw it from front stalls in Leicester and if you like old school musicals with all the glitz and glamour, then this will not disappoint. The four leads are going to be amazing together,I reckon. ‘Count Your Blessings’ is one of my all-time fave MT songs...there,I’ve said it,my secret is out lol.

£25 rush ticket, stalls. Christmas has come early. I'm going on the basis of reviews from Leicester, so hope it's good.

So they do tod.tix rush. That will take care of the unsold seats.
Hope to hear some feedback if anyone is there today. I will be going on Monday

It was an extremely classy and well put together production in every aspect when i saw it at Curve last Christmas. The cast were brilliant then and they have assembled a brilliant cast again this year, whilst it was also visually stunning to look at.
It sounds, though i never saw it, the opposite of the previous White Christmas production at the Dominion.

Strong cast, fabulous band and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Guess the stalls were about 80% - 90% full. I think they need a little more of the white stuff at the end though, as they risk being out snowed by their neighbours at the Old Vic. EDIT: For clarity, I'm referring to this year's production at the Dominion.

That old Dominion production was horrible in every way. Didn’t it start the annual Dominion-festive-show-rip-off too? I seem to remember it being outrageously expensive too.

Saw White Christmas last night at the Dominion from my favourite seat ( A20 ). Started 19.32, ended with plenty of snow at 22.08.
Even better than I recall it at the Curve last year with perfect casting. Not quite as breathtakingly spectacular as 42nd Street but a close second. Great to see Clare Halse back on stage looking, singing and dancing better than ever. Don't expect much of a storyline, it's basically a series of song and dance numbers with some comedy moments and a precocious child actress in the mix. Pure feelgood slightly old-fashioned entertainment. It was merely okay at the Dominion last time round; this is light years ahead. I think I had a fixed smile on my face from start to finish. Brenda Edwards was the stand out star for me but the "three Dans" are great together.
If you can get a ticket at a reasonable price as I did (£49.50) go see it.

Saw this last night and it is an excellent production, probably even better than when I saw it in Leicester last year. Pretty full too.
There's a great view from the front row, with the exception of speakers that extend above the top of the stage, meaning that you can't see feet during the dancing.
I think the stage is bigger and the set and routines have definitely expanded to fill the additional space.
And, you get to see Clare Halse tap dance on top of a piano!
This seemed longer than last year to me, running 2 hours and 30 minutes. Not sure where the extra time came from (it didn't seem like an excessively long interval).
There is a lot of snow this year (at least if you're sat at the front).
Great music and great performances all round. I hope to get back again before this closes.

Little bit torn on this one. It's smart production I liked how it always remains in the barn. Princiaps are great especially Dan Burton, Brenda Edwards and Clare Halse but the chorus need more drilling. Some of the routines are sloppy and lack focus. Yes it's in previews but at those prices I expect the Bolshoi Ballet.

TodayTix Rush was very easy this morning, row P stalls for £25. I saw the tour when we had it in Sunderland back in 2010 (Christmas Eve outing). Looking forward to seeing it with this cast, don't remember too much about it.

Saw it last night -- it's pretty ho-hum material that refuses in any way to fully ignite (it's no 42nd Street, that's for sure) but the cast rescue it from terminal blandness, and it is nice to See Clare Halse tapping away once again. Michael Brandon tries to sing, which gets a laugh all its own, and the "snow" is full and wet when it comes pouring down at the end. Bring a hat!

I have to say that the material didn’t really engage me last night but the production and the cast did. 5 very strong leads, excellent support from the rest of the cast and a beautiful set. Michael Brandon was very poor though I thought which lost a lot of the potential emotional impact. But other than that, it’s hard to imagine a production of White Christmas being much better.

I saw this yesterday too, and have to agree that the cast far outshines the material (with the exception of Michael Brandon, who is very wooden). The only bits I found vaguely emotional were the parts when they were soldiers, although I'm not sure how much of that was remembering the film. The child character is a real annoyance; I guess she has to be there to overhear things and move the plot along, but she really doesn't have to sing. First number I'd cut! However, if you can live without emotional resonance, it's very enjoyable overall. It's pretty, and the choreography is good. As mentioned above, the main leads are excellent and have just the right amount of old-fashioned hollywood charm. It was a joy to see Clare Halse tapping again. Brenda Edwards seemed to make much more of the part of Martha Watson than I've seen before, loved her. A real step up from any versions I've seen before, and I enjoyed it very much. Today Tix rush provided a decent stalls seat, although not far forward enough to be snowed upon. If anyone is leaving it until nearer Christmas, thinking it would feel odd now, I would point out that it's not that Christmassy until the very end. The people behind me were disappointed how un-festive it was.

Yeh i was surprised by that too, to be honest change the name to something without Christmas in the title and you could probably do the show all year round.

I really enjoyed this. It’s a sublime production with a really strong core cast. Loved Brenda Edwards - she’s so good and makes the most of her role and the audience love her.

Saw this last night - completely agree with others that it's barely Christmassy at all aside from the title song and the last 5 minutes, so don't let that put you off. It's very slick, well paced, gorgeous costumes, lovely choregraphy and 5 impeccable leads who all give faultless performances. They were all note-perfect and the whole thing was just classically charming. Plus, you know, Danny Mac in army uniform, Danny Mac in a tux, and Danny Mac in a vest 😀

I saw it last week and whilst I liked it I didn't love it. It was sweet and started off my Christmas period nicely, but it wasn't something I would enjoy outside of the Christmas season context. I bit too dated for my liking, only in 50's movies did characters would meet on day 1, hate each other day 2-4 and fall madly in love by day 7 I was sitting in the half full dress circle and moved forward to better seats when it was clear half of the auditorium will be empty. My £15 tod.tix ticket ended up being decent view. I just felt it was somewhat lost on the large dominion stage. I think it would've been much better in a smaller, intimate theatre. I don't think I like the dominion, it's a bit cold and soulless, whilst a Christmas show should be warm and cosy. There was snow in the dress circle, too, I got completely snowed over with it but it melted very quickly. I cannot wait for Christmas Carol tomorrow, I think that will do the trick

Could someone do me a favour and look at their programme to see what the size of the band is? I'm intrigued if it's bigger than at Curve.

Could someone do me a favour and look at their programme to see what the size of the band is? I'm intrigued if it's bigger than at Curve. I didn't buy a programme. Sorry. The band didn't sound big. They also sounded quite modern, electric bass and keyboards. Didn't have the classicsl Berlin sound I was expecting
