Richard II at the Sam Wanamaker

Shakespeare is robust I know but they are going to weigh this play down with issues- black representation on the stage, women's representation, post Windrush and Brexit. Too much, too much. Let Shakespeare do the work and maybe choose a play better suited to this heavy overlay, like Measure for Measure or Cymbeline. 
Ok, I suppose proof of the pudding....
