It was incredibly self-indulgent - and too drawn out. Would have been fine to start off slow and reflective and then kick it up back to the regular tempo for some variety. But it was just depressing to hear it that way.

I think Anthony (the Scouser) will definitely be through after all the build-up he's had.

Some really odd decisions this evening
Boys - there is no-one with the entertainment factor. None of them have a big personality. Tom should have been put through - he has real presence
Overs - Janice - nothing special there, the mum of 2 should have taken that place. No idea what calypso man is still doing there - one trick pony. And pub singer. What was she thinking?

Misunderstood incredibly similar to Raksu from last year but I still can't help but love them. They'll be finalists for sure.

Misunderstood have something but they are not really original.
There is no-one that I care about in the top 16.
There is no-one who really sparks any musical interest. No voice that is unique or memorable.
Other than the orange one with the eyebrows, I am struggling to remember any of the girls from last week.
Truncating the audition process meant we don't get to bond with the possibles ahead of final selection.
The show needs a rest

The only 'unique' voice is the Irish lad who has quite a high singing voice but he doesn't have much personality, I'm not sure he will last unless he really perks up a bit.

Giovanni Spano who has been in numerous musicals over the years often playing the comedy sidekick has got through in Mrs Robbie's team. Good to see him doing well at something a bit different.

This show really should of just ended once Little Mix won. It's just embarrassing to watch these days, no one is remotely in the same league as Little Mix, Leona, Alexandra etc, good lord.

In my opinion, the girls are winning tonight. Loved Bella for her unique rapping skills, Shan gave me Leona/ vibes vocally, and Molly I was very impressed - at her age she is very talented.
I did not enjoy Giovanni, the boy band, the Jamaican man and the woman who sang Clarity. They'll be at the bottom of the rankings for me.
The choir were distinctly average.

Giovanni is really not up there at all for me. I thought his first audition was incredibly self indulgent. The judges weren't even that keen first time around. To add to that, he hasn't for the winning kinds image, or music type I don't think. I think he will make it in a few weeks, but I don't imagine he will get too far in.

Me and my family think he’ll be in the bottom three. I can’t imagine any people voting for him.
I’ll be using the free app votes on Bella, Anthony, Molly, Shan and maybe another vote for Bella.

I re-watched his first audition the other day and it made me just cringe. I agree I think he'll be in the Bottom three. The issue too is I don't think he is coming across that well, and that doesn't make for many votes. It's a shame cause he is great in Bat!

I really hated LMA Choir. It was all about the conductor who is such a try hard that it is painful. The lead vocalist didn't have enough focus in the presentation. I don't want to see a conductor lunging around the stage. It is about the singers not her.
It wasn't badly sung - but they have no place in this competition. BGT semi-final at best.
I also saw no value in Olatunji - the track was weak, his voice is weak. Just slightly creepy.
Vocal star is clearly Shan - even though I can't stand Imagine as a song.

Thinking more about it, the boys category is also weak on the basis of tonight's show. Armstrong was all over the place and Dalton sang really badly.

The girls were were the best by a long shot, but Scarlet was very average I thought.

I thought that was one if the worst shows I’ve seen in a long time. Boring, sub-par acts (mostly) and incredibly boring judges. They could lose at least half of them now for me - too many put through in the first place. And I agree about the choir leader - how annoying was she in the staging? She needs to go, or just join in. Watching after Strictly, which I find fun and quite positive, it all seemed a bit downbeat, and everyone sounded desperate. But then I suppose it’s “ all they’ve ever wanted to do, their last chance, etc.” Still. Keala Settle tonight.

"I have so much more to give!" That put me right off. It was bad enough when one of the Overs did it (adding that she was 50, presumably to emphasise that this was her last ever chance of having a music career), but when one of the Girls did it (adding that she'd been dreaming of being on XF since she was 7), it became truly ridiculous!

I think The X factor has really lost its way. The show last night had no atmosphere and I think really needs to end now after this series. The days when X factor contestants went on to be successful after are pretty much over. Even Dermot just seemed to be going through the motions. The judges are pretty dire too. From a former lover of the X factor I don't think I will bother to watch next week.

Settle is screaming rather than singing most of this.
Not a pleasant live experience. Ouch.

Olatunji first out - not a shock. He had nothing new to offer.
Janice v Armstrong for sing off...
I can see the headlines now.

If they kick Janice out over this mess from Armstrong, there is something wrong with the audio in the studio.
He can't sing in tune.

Keala sounded like she was struggling. Rak-Su aren’t my cup of tea.
I’m sure this all-black bottom 3 will go down well with the newspapers.
