I didn't realise that Steph just started her run back at the show today. The same day they put up posers of SOMEONE ELSE all around New York. That's pretty disrespectful. But isn't this what they do to her ALL THE TIME, from what I've seen? The woman's a superstar, she deserves so much more credit for keeping Waitress running while the producers are star casting left, right and center.

Great news for Lucie- either way, she's in Times Square for the whole world to see!
This whole situation is hilarious- what a mess!
Imagine all of this and she isn't taking over from anyone!!

I saw Steph as Jenna last April between Sara leaving and KMP starting. She was absolutely incredible and I've been obsessed with Waitress ever since! Can't wait see it here with KMP and then hopefully Lucie.

If you go to the Waitress The Musical Broadway website, Lucie's face is the first photo you see on the homepage also.

I love that using KMP is a thing now. Don’t tell that chap who told me and Rukaya off for using it - he got WELL cheesed off (apparently that’s like calling her the plague if I recall...👀)

Stephanie is the understudy and knew she was just filling in for a brief stint. Lucie is Katherine McPhee’s exchange and then she’ll take over after 6 months or however KMP is in for.

She's been filling in for brief stints time and time and time again though. Hope she gets paid well cause from the outside it doesn't seem like she gets respected much by Waitress as a brand

KMP is only in it for three months so it seems a short time for LJ to be on BW and then come to the WE. And we know she's back in the UK for some of that time as well as she has concerts. It does seem a bit unfair on ST to not get her face on any posters. With how many times she fills in you'd have thought it would be beneficial. I wonder if any of the branding will change in the WE if LJ comes in. Will her face replace KMP and JM?

I love a good acronym but you're having a laugh if you think that spite-using KMP is more exciting than the pie jars.

I love that using KMP is a thing now. I've started using KMP when I talk about the show with my friends, too. That's when I don't call her by her old stage name Karen Cartwright, of course...

Also if she doesn’t tweet “I’m in tech” today I’ll be very disappointed

I'm happy enough with KMP. I would also have given consideration to K-Mac

With some of the side front row stalls still not on sale, do you think they might get released online once they sort out sightlines or more likely to form some sort of dayseats/rush?

The front row is already on sale- as I moved date and the gentlemen said he'd put on the front row as the side stalls weren't available for that day. He claimed he's been in and had a look, and said it doesn't look too bad!

I don't know what to make of the people that applied for DR tickets who were already going to see the first preview or first few shows. I know there were no rules to the DR promotion but if you are going to the show the next day and already paid for it, do you actually need to be entering to see the DR free? My thoughts are just that it takes away tickets from people who hadn't booked yet and this was an opportunity to see it, or who couldn't afford it or were booked for much later in the run and could now see it sooner. I dunno. Maybe it's just me but it seems a little extra.

Conversely, it’s not really anyone elses business. It’s how I feel as a tall person near the front at a concert when you hear people moaning behind you. Get here quicker next time! 😂
