Sooner or later, they're going to have to put something in the contracts instructing cast members not to follow each other on social media until after the official cast announcement has gone out. Didn't we work out a decent number of Hamilton cast members this way too?

Kat McPhee followed the Waitress London insta account like a week before it was announced (and then unfollowed haha) so I was totally suspicious at that point |

Apparently the name they had lined up for Jenna after Nicolette fell through so it seems that Stephanie Torns will be playing Jenna through Christmas. Nicolette isnt extending again. Rumour is also that they had Anna Kendrick lined up a couple months back and she pulled out last minute because she got cast in a new show.

I saw Waitress on Broadway earlier this year. I thought it was great, without it being something I’d rush back to. Katharine McPhee was excellent on all fronts. Was waiting to see the rest of the cast here before deciding whether to go in the West End. Can’t say they’re drawing me back. Marisha should be good. But David Hunter is a definite no-no for me...

Why is Nicolette not extending? This is the highlight of her career and probably the most spotlight and media attention she'll get for a while, if at all. Nothing against her and I'm sure she delivers, but nothing about her is extraordinary.

Super happy about Marisha and Laura but completely underwhelmed with the choice of David Hunter as Dr P. Does anyone think they might have him be English? Also, I know size shouldn’t be an issue but I feel he’s too short for Dr P when Katharine McPhee is pretty tall.

Super happy about Marisha and Laura but completely underwhelmed with the choice of David Hunter as Dr P. Does anyone think they might have him be English? Also, I know size shouldn’t be an issue but I feel he’s too short for Dr P when Katharine McPhee is pretty tall. I'd say it's less a case of height, more if he can hit all those high notes! |

Also of note is the fact the site lists Josie, not Joe - but then one of the ensemble tracks says u/s Joe...
(unless what's there is placeholder text only I guess).

I liked Laura a lot in Eugenius and Marisha is terrific. David was great in Kinky Boots too, so overall I’m pleased!

I'm super excited about David Hunter - He's been on my dream casting list forever.
I love this show and cast is sounding pretty promising so far, so I'm feeling pretty positive about this production now - or at least my personal enjoyment of it!

Really liking the cast. I thought David Hunter was great in Kinky Boots and in some songs I preferred him to Killian Donnelly. Now for tickets to wait or to book early?
