I thought maybe Jeremy Jordin but isn’t he going back to film Supergirl? I don’t know his filming dates though. I guess it has to be a big name that they think will sell seats if they’re booting David for it. |

If it's Jeremy i'm straight back there for a third visit. I've seen him in concerts but would love to see him in an actual show. (Well i saw him in the newsies screening but i don't count that really).

So new Jenna and Dr Pomatter joining at end of January - poss both for limited season. Maybe Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel - they did a similar stint on Broadway in January/Feb this year.

Okay I’m back to my Sara is gonna play Jenna prediction, and yeah maybe either Jeremy Jordan or Gavin Creel as Dr P. Sara is besties with Gavin so that’s probably more likely! |

Really bothers me if he’s announced this before it’s official when he actively despises Waitress and is always tweeting about wanting it to close Right haha! When he wants to be the first to spill the scoop, oh he's there. But he will then slam the show with his next tweet. Can't stand him either. Comes across very egotistical and thinks everything he spouts is gold. |

Whilst Sara and Gavin would be great, financially what is this going to benefit the show?
Sara is known, but she isn't *massive*. I don't mean to be rude, she's an amazing talent, but she isn't a household name over here. Gavin is only known the in theatre world, mainly Broadway circles. I'd argue some theatre fans from the UK wouldn't know him.
Whilst I'd love to see it, I doubt it is 100% true. It just won't pull in the punters they're looking for in the cold Jan/Feb months IMO!

It’s quite likely that more people will discover the information from this thread than from C Woodward’s Twitter, but no one complains about predictions or unofficial leaks here. I guess if it’s what sealed the deal for Sara (if this isn’t just a false rumour) 👍 - just seems a bit weird to do another temporary cast replacement after the Laura/Ashley debacle when it’s probably not necessary in terms of what it’ll do for ticket sales! At least David has pre-empted any outrage - plus if it’s an actual MT star like Gavin that will help lol |

Sara is definitely in, that's been confirmed since just after Lucie start her her run in June - i just couldn't share that.
Gavin is news to me, but if David is out, it would make sense. And lets be honest, when have any of Waitress' stunt castings made any sense...
