Just because I’m bored at work, anyone fancy a punt?
I’d like them to go back a bit through the years and go for something like John or Steven.

Loved WhatsOnStage's short-lived poll: "would you like the baby to have a Shakespearean name like Romeo or Titania, or a non-Shakespearean name like Henry or Victoria?". Never mind that he wrote seven plays with the name "Henry" in the title, one of which had at least four different characters all named Henry.....
George, Charlotte, and... something Freddish, I reckon. Alfred would be nice, Frederick would be more likely, and then he can be the fifteenth Freddie in his class at school because that's just how things roll when you're part of a family that values traditional names (in the direct line of succession, at least).

Albert and Arthur (the favourites, apparently) seems a tad old-fashioned to me, something like a James would be quite nice. But apparently "they" say it's going to be something beginning with an 'A' (who knows these things? And why?)

I've always liked the name Paul, for some reason! Prince Paul has a certain ring to it, don't you think?

But apparently "they" say it's going to be something beginning with an 'A' (who knows these things? And why?) Albert would be after King George VI whose real name was Albert/Bertie. Arthur would be good, I don't think there has been an Arthur in the Royal Family for a couple of centuries.

I wanted them to call their first son Richard. It would've been a good time to rehabilitate the name for a future monarch after all that Leicester car park palaver. I don't fancy it as much for a third-born somehow...

I think they should call it Flragnarrl, Destroyer Of Worlds.
It's a good job I'm not a celebrity, because I would totally do that to screw with the tabloids.

Edward VIII was always known as David (his last name). Can't imagine they'd choose something like that, still all a bit too close to home. I think they'll go with something like Arthur or Albert, they seem to like particularly traditional names. There will probably be a Philip and possibly a Michael in the second and third names too. They could go with Frederick perhaps.

They haven’t gone off piste yet so expect the expected. What are George’s names? I think Philip and Charles might already be there. If not then Philip would be lovely seeing as though Philip D/E is getting on a bit....
Meghan must have a list...

George is George Alexander Louis, and Charlotte is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. If they're not up for any duplication of any sort, I reckon that rules out Charles as well.

George Alexander Louis Meghan must have a list... She'll definitely not pick anything traditional. Save the Jordan, Jayden and Mason for her.

Henry VIII's older brother who died young was an Arthur.

I think we need a King Arthur, because then we can have a royal family built on Monty Python quotes.

Well, they'd be very unlucky to end up with a King Arthur at this point (unless Charlie-boy or William decided to adopt it as their regnal name) as that would mean Charles, William, George and Caroline were all dead....

Now don't get me wrong, I'm very happy The Duchess has had the baby safely, but it's nowt that women across the world don't do every day. However, ITV have rolling coverage and they have cancelled Tipping point ffs. Move on there is nothing to see.
Philip is my nomination though

I like some of the older ones. Have been browsing through some of the names of the ancient royals... I suppose Cnut is out? There’s always a chance he could turn out to be dyslexic.
