I think she did hear, sadly. I couldn't see the audience member but I can only assume alcohol was involved, the culprit was definitely seated in the stalls!

Extended to March 2018 and new cast announced - Sara Poyzer, Kate Graham and Jacqueline Braun are the new Dynamos. Georgina Castle has been promoted to principal Sophie with Christopher Jordan-Marshall as Sky, Bobbie Little as Ali, Harriet Bunton as Lisa, Damian Buhagiar as Pepper and Nye Rees as Eddie, with Caroline Deverill as alternate Donna.
All 3 dads are staying on which is a bit of a surprise as Richard and Alasdair have both been there a while.

Ooooo Caroline Deverill is good casting! But it still makes no sense to me why Donna needs an alternate.

Sara and Jacqueline were on the UK Tour with its original cast - they're both brilliant!

I agree with Daniel about the Donna alternate, I don't think it's really needed in terms of the performance being hard but it must be hard to blend older looking ladies into the ensemble who are able to cover Donna.

Shame they haven't seemed to include any ensemble members in their press release?!

Shame they haven't seemed to include any ensemble members in their press release?! I saw someone tweet the official account on Twitter asking about the ensemble and they said it will be posted in due course

Ensemble wasn't officially announced in the press release, but are slowly being leaked on Twitter. Mark Isherwood is joining, presumably as a cover for the dads.

That's good to hear, him managing to get straight into another show after being in Jersey Boys. I can't find any of the other leaked people! Who else have you seen ?

Here's a thought - has there ever been a black Rosie or Tanya in the West End Mamma Mia? I can understand why there isn't a black Donna (unless Sophie was black too) but I can see lots of good actresses as either Rosie or Tanya - Andi Osho, Brenda Edwards, Sandra Marvin, Nicola Hughes, Lisa Davina Philip, Claudia Kaurkati etc etc??

Wendy Mae Brown was a cover for Rosie in the original London cast.

Wendy Mae Brown was a cover for Rosie in the original London cast. Let's get her back as Rosie full time! She would be good or Nicola Hughes as Tanya - she would SMASH that role so much!

Odd though, to have that thought randomly of an evening. I don't understand the thinking behind randomly placing actors of specific ethinicities into a show for tokenism.

If there was a black Donna and subsequently a black Sophie then the line from the song Thank You For The Music "I am so lucky, I am the girl with golden hair" wouldn't make sense in context.
Many years ago my sister saw the show and although it was a white actress playing Sophie, she was a brunettes and this was one of the things she picked up on.

Simply stating some people I think would be good as Tanya or Rosie and just asking if there had ever been a black one before. Not tokenism

Plenty of brown haired gals have played Sophie around the world. If they have the talent (and one small phrase doesn't make sense) i don't see it being a huge deal.

Oh for sure...and I wasn't throwing shade...im just saying they have brown haired Sophies in the past! AS black Donna would be fierce though. Get Jennifer Holiday!

Much as I'm for colour blind casting, it might be a little odd in a show about paternity issues. Have we ever had a non-white Sky or they Dynamos?

The typecasting has been done better this year! Although when it comes to the vocal achievements I do miss Mazz Murray.

Took mother to the matinee yesterday (she had never seen on stage, just the movie so was her Christmas present). It was my fourth time & 4th show of 2018!!
Had lunch at ‘Joe Allen’s’ so went full stagey!
I had booked via the ‘See Tickets’ New Year sale - I booked us Stalls front row & just to say when I go next time I’m sitting there again - it’s perfect!!
Largely alternatives on yesterday & thought cast were in great form!
I know it’s a tourist show but it still fresh to me, you can’t deny the choreography delights.
