That's really sad... I used to love her in The Vicar of Dibley; she showed us that someone other than Jennifer could be a perfect comedy foil for Dawn French, and I never tired of her 'stupidity'. RIP indeed.

Really sad. The tiny Tibs used to watch Dibley on the sofa whenever they were ill. Her brilliant 'I can't believe I Can't Believe It's Not Butter isn't really butter' speech is, for me, up there with Delboy falling through the bar.
RIP Emma. There's a Tellytubby somewhere crying right now.

Yes it is so sad at 53. I am approaching that age myself and it really is no age to go .RIP Emma .

Very sad. I think I first saw her on stage in the first production of Ayckbourn's "Henceforward", where she was playing the daughter, though she was a fair bit older than the part. Great comic skills. Far too young, sad. RIP.
