I wonder when we can be expecting official cast photos? I am very excited to see Jackie all dressed up for professional Elphaba pics!

In case anyone is interested and not seen it, two of the new cast members are vloggers and have released a couple of episodes as they start the prep for the show!
Emily Boyd (ensemble)
Sam Brown (swing)
Hoping for mini cast interviews and behind the scenes although knowing how tightly controlled Wicked keep these things we probably won't get that much insight lol!

Isn't there a big 5 week gap between most venues? I assumed other venues would be announced for these gaps but it's getting very close!

If those month long gaps aren't going to be filled with other venues, I think it is a great idea! That amount of rest between venues would be so beneficial to the cast.

Isn't it strange that no new venues have been announced in months. I think the last new venue was announced before the cast announcement.

Yes! And it's so odd they have 5 weeks between the first and second venue, which seems idea to have a stop but it would open next month and there have been no announcements?

Although I guess two weeks leave for cast and crew and then three weeks to travel to venue, aclimatise to the new country, load in etc isn't actually too much of a break?

I feel like they might be leaving room for possible extensions? It seems financially unwise to launch a tour for so little stops- where are they making money? I mean I'm sure they know what they're doing- I've just never seen a tour (especially of such a big expensive show) announce such a small tour.
I really hope they don't scale down the actual production.

Exciting that the cast move into the theatre today to start tech rehearsals! Not long to go till opening night! Surely they have to announce some extra dates and venues once the production officially opens.

My excitement is out of control for this right now. I am not even there until the 18th of August but just knowing the show is going on tour again makes me so so happy. I am very excited for the rest of the pro shots to be released, Jackie looks stunning!

Do we know who is 3rd cover midwife?!

Post by Deleted on Jul 13, 2016 1:03:43 GMT
Reports confirm that the 3rd cover midwife will be played by ex-Elphaba sensation Ana Gasteyer, as she is such a gossip she has also let slip that this production will have an official alternate for Fiyero, which will be played Joel Grey Since the tour opening is just around the corner, I thought I'd leave this little surprise here! Make sure to like the video!
