If you're at the point where you can name every single ensemble member and more than a few of them can name you, you've gone too far. This made my morning. Bravo! However, some of us can do this without being the type to bawl at someone's last show. (Case in point: some friends and I used to run a fan site for a well-known musical, and both of these things you mentioned applied... but this was many years ago -- pre-social media -- and we kept our distance.)

I hope they've got a big nightie ready for her... You cow! I am not forwarding you the bit of tickertape I'd been saving for you now. Just addressing the elephant in the room. (Literally) Enjoy your tickertape!

If you take out all of the cutesy-wutesy "quick favour/if that's ok?/would be amazing/get to you quicker" cobblers this actually translates as "We're actors not animals in a zoo SO KEEP AWAY FROM US YOU HYSTERICAL BITCHES".

That article reads: "Look producers and people in the business, I am a very serious star that has fans. I know that every person on the West End ever had to deal with this after every show, but I just like to write an article about it, just in case you didn't know I have fans. Just in case people in the business wouldn't realize that there were actually 15 fans standing there during my last shows of les Mis. Hopefully you will see me as a star because of this" to me.
"Can I please have a moment to ask everybody's attention, can you please stand on the left side so I can get to you quicker and so that my beloved colleagues won't be blocked by my fans".....Get out of here.

Minus the painful overuse of kind and lovely prefixes to obnoxious sentences, that's very smug and written with a clear superior tone. She can spend 6 hours at stage door tonight, or she can rush through without really stopping, either are fine, but don't try and rush off without stopping but act as though you're being as nice as someone who had stopped for 6 hours.

In the words of Javert: The world is upside down... We can only hope that Les Mis will be remembered long after her departure.

Smash it Jezza!!!!!!! This reminds me of a time when I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the Palace (lost count how many times I had been already) and the part of Jesus was played by Bogdan Kominovski, an actor who had played various roles in the show previously, but who was currently playing Elvis at the Astoria. He was obviously called back in as the lead and the understudy were off... I wonder how often this is actually done?

Phantom seens to have to get back a former cast member to cover a lead role about once a year, I've seen this for both Christine in 2012 & Raoul in 2015 (I went deliberately to see them, I didn't just happen to be there, that would be a heck of a coincidence!) & I'm pretty sure there have been other instances I have read about on Twitter. As for other shows, hasn't Wicked had to get various former Elphabas to be on standby at various times, though I don't know if any have been on. It happens with plays too. The 39 Steps got the previous Hannay back for several weeks last year when the new one was injured and The Play That Goes Wrong has had no fewer than 3 former cast members back in the last week to cover the role of Robert because the lead is on holiday & the understudy off sick.

Well both Carrie and Rob have made it out to stage door according to Instagram, and Carrie appears to still be crying.

Slightly off topic, have you guys seen this video of a Les Mis flash mob? It's one of the most cringey things I've seen online (especially when Enjolras comes in, and with the flag at the end , but I can't stop watching:

It's a blog post on her own blog, and that wasn't quite how I read it -- she knows she's important to a lot of people, but their nuttiness is causing problems, so she needed to address it. (FWIW I've never seen her, nor heard any clips of her as Eponine. Just know of her.)

If you have problems with your fans, then take another exit or keep it short and walk away. Don't pretend to be something else. "I love you all if you just stand on the left of Stage Door, so you, my fans, don't block all my beloved colleagues, look what a big heart I have, and by the way, don't think of holding me up, because I have a party to go to." Sounds like a very troubled girl to me.

Carrie and Rob recorded a cover to celebrate their final performances. It is a great cover and they changed the lyrics to involve bits of Les Mis.

I was watching the crowd come out of the Princes of Wales theatre, Toronto where ales Miserable played 2 years ago, as a warm up for Broadway, given the heart wrenching story of Les Miserable you think people would be more charitable, they looked at some pan handler outside the entrance as dirt.

But this is not how Carrie normally sings, because how can one concentrate with a camera in the room?
Also, nice little song for your grandchildren, but isn't she just Eponine number 97 in the West End production? I'm sorry, her aura just screams "self-indulgence" and "insecurity" to me.

Well, she is London's longest running Eponine... but I see what you mean by just another actress.

Calling someone troubled or insecure isn't very nice. The video might be a little self-indulgent but it's just a bit of fun.

She's a YouTuber... the point of her channel is to profile her life. Her life for the past nearly three years has been Les Mis, so it is a big deal for her leaving. And as Jon said, it is just a bit of fun for her and Rob, and a chance to properly sing together on her channel.
