I'm looking to book a Wednesday play matinee in late May but only three decent options announced so far (Mood Music, Nightfall and Quiz).
ATG haven't yet announced productions for the Playhouse, Trafalgar Studios and Harold Pinter. Also no word yet for late May shows for the Almeida, Ambassadors, Apollo, Gielgud or Haymarket. Some current shows will likely extend.
It's still some time away but there was a time not so long ago when most theatres would have had their shows announced for most of the year many months in advance.

It's also pretty ridiculous that there is still not a London cast recording of Wicked despite it running for over ten years!

They should have done it when it was Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman together. Best combo ever 😁 Boys..THAT boat has sailed ages ago. There are several reasons why I'm sure this happened. The OBC was and is selling like hot cakes. Another English language version could have affected its sale, while not doing so amazing itself. Secondly, there's the Kristien factor. You'd be surprised how well negotiated some of these top billing actors are. I wouldn't be surprised if the two leads of the OBC have it in contracts that they have first refusal and that no subsequent recordings of the stage version (in English) are done without them. There really was no reason to do a London recording because there was one with Idina and Kristen, which is supposedly the definitive version. Why would they have done one with Helen Dallimore, who is even by London-fan standards is a Glinda with very little legacy. It is also very very rare to do a replacement cast recording. Only one I can think of is Kiss of the Spiderwoman, and that was done for completely different circumstances.

Don't think I don't think like you, I often get those nightmares too, they always take some swallowing...
(Just accept it.)
All you have to do is sit and wait...

I don't believe Kristin or Idina had that kind of contractual power, they weren't megastars when that soundtrack was recorded in 2003. I didn't mention Helen Dallimore, for my money she was dreadful. And loads of UK cast recordings have been released of Broadway shows - Legally Blonde, Memphis, Kinky Boots, Elf, Dreamgirls, they all had them.

5-Grinning Man has a calendar up until April but no tickets have gone on sale They now have, so at least that's one less problem in the world. And to think some people still regard the UN as being irrelevant!

1-No cast announcement for Chess yet Susan Boyle has been photographed with a biro. So we're more or less there with that one too. (You see how quickly we can get jobs done when there's a list!)

2-No cast announcement for the titular character of The Cher Show - The Cher Musical And surely Cher now looks young enough to play the young Cher herself. My word, we're getting through these at a rate of knots!

There should have been a London cast recording of "Hairspray" with Michael Ball. Too late now unfortunately.

Chicago cast better be good given ticket prices too. Yes, this exactly!!! I am not very hopeful the cast will be great and I am not buying tickets until I know who the cast is. Ticket prices are ridiculous.
