Hamilton will add another booking period.
kinky Boots finally walks out of the West End, as does Dreamgirls, as does Motown.
Unfortunately Thriller and the Woman in Black stay put.
Strictly Ballroom is a disaster and Tina Turner: The Musical isn’t simply th Best.
Great year for Broadway announcements, with Frozen, Come From Away, Waitress, The Humans and Dear Evan Hansen all making plans. Baz is on standby.
Chichester will shock everyone by doing 2 Musicals this year.

Starlight is announced to reopen the Theatre Royal Drury Lane after it’s refurbished, complete with race tracks.
Groundhog Day opens at the Aldwych.
Waitress for the Piccadilly.
Chicago limps along through the year.

Harry Potter extends at least twice - but the hype is no way near as big as it was two years ago. Comedy about a Bank Robbery, Dreamgirls, and Kinky Boots all close. Patti is projected over the speakers before every performance of Company threatening people not to dare use mobile phones.
