Anyone else watching? So far good musical theatre cameos and easter eggs:
*SPOILER ALERT*
-Jack and Karen doing Cabaret ("what good is drinking alone in your room?") -Grace singing Green Finch and Linnet Bird -Cameos by Anthony Ramos (Hamilton) as Grace's new assistant, Ben Platt (Evan Hansen) as Will's young date, Andrew Rannells and Jane Lynch as camp councilors
...I'm loving it so far.

Yes I'm watching it too and absolutely LOVING it. It's lost none of its original spark and the writing is just as witty, satirical and camp as it was before. The chemistry between the 4 is still there and thriving, as are their personal performances. The guest appearances have been particularly brilliant. So excited for the rest of the season and season 10. Really, really hope they keep it going after that, too.

Does anyone know if there's any sign of a uk airdate for this yet?

It is great fun. The chemistry between the central 4-some is as strong as it ever was and the writing feels pretty tight (if, occasionally, a little preachy)
It is one of those rare revivals that actually justifies the decision to do it.

I would love it if Sean Hayes would do a "Just Jack" show at 54 Below, in full on Jack character.

Thank you @theatremadness, like many of the other posters I have been wondering when this revival would make it on to the screens of those of us with gas tv . My all time favourite line came when the late Debbie Reynolds as Grace’s loud and very annoying mum arrived , constantly singing show tunes. Grace asked her mum if she’d do her a favour, and go and see her (Grace’s) counsellor. The mum refused, saying she doesn't need counselling . Grace says “I didn't mean that , it’s just that he thinks I’m making you up “.

Coincidentally I've been working my way through the original run again and thoroughly enjoying it. Based on the above comments I'm looking forward to the new run.

I have been watching the new Will and Grace too and I agree, it's great! My favorite moment from the old series was when they did a show that was broadcasted live and they broke character several times and laughed. Now if we could only have a Friends revival! 🙏

The latest Christmas episode was absolutely horrible and anti-funny. I hope they come back with episode in line with the earlier ones they've done this season.

The last episode wasn't the best but I thought there were still a few funny moments, for example the decorating terms. Next one is in a month again. At this rate the UK audience can catch up fast when they show it there. There have only been 7 episodes so far.

Aired last night on Ch5. Unfortunately i found it totally unfunny, forced and cringeworthy. I didn't like the inclusion of so much politics. It felt contrived. As usual the best moments went to Jack and Karen. My other half didn't laugh once.

I'm up to date with the States and unfortunately it is a fairly uneven season. For every good line or episode there are an equal number (or more) or duff ones. It's great to see the cast again (and Karen will always be a goddess) but it's definitely not in the same league as the earlier stuff

The political opening episode is clearly a nod to last year's mini episode.
The rest of the episodes of the new series don't reference politics anywhere near as much.

I can confirm my equal crush on Debra Messing and Eric McCormack is still going strong after all these years. So there's that.
I did laugh a fair bit last night (mainly at Karen and Jack) but not the strongest episode. Still nice to have the old gang back. Loved the way they dealt with the original ending though.

The first episode was good, but too much politics. Funny in parts. Looking forward to what the next episodes bring as I’ve heard mixed reviews.

The politics definitely stop after the first episode, don't worry

So good to see this to come back. This cast obviously have great chemistry and off screen and this comes across. Karen Walker is up to her old antics again. Such a fabulous character! I alsways find the character of Jack a tad immature, which I felt came across again last night, though I did like the little interaction with the special agents guy. I agree. Too much politics.

I enjoyed it but didn't understand the politics but that's because I'm not American so had no idea about a lot of the names featured. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Funny thing is when you look at the description of the series on Virgin media Tivo box it says the show is comedy, gay and lesbian. Who are the lesbians?

Anyone watch this last night?
Much funnier last night and guest starring Ben Platt (of Dear Evan Hansen fame).

Anyone watch this last night? Much funnier last night and guest starring Ben Platt (of Dear Evan Hansen fame). I did- loved last night felt like the “classic”’show but with updated references exactly what I’d want from a revival. Ben Platt was adorable too! And 10/10 for Sean Hayes’ physical comedy last night- I normally don’t find that sort of humour funny but he’s always managed to make me laugh with it.
