First two series were fantastic. Third got a bit better after a shaky start. But a great cast, fantastic music, and the gorgeous Cillian Murphy make it a must-see.
Hmmm, watched the first series but not that impressed to tell the truth, I thought Boardwalk Empire did the same sort of thing a whole lot better (and quicker, I understand that there are still a few more series of Peaky B on the way), I should maybe give the second and third series a go, Tom Hardy and Paddy Considine are a couple of the best British actors of recent years (and Adrien Brody is in the fourth).
Love the show! Bold, gripping, amazing cast, beautifully written/captured and the soundrack is something else.. Cillin Murphy is killing it in every single shot. Can't find any info on the date realese for Season 4.. Better be soon!
Im going against popular opinion here to say I didn't like it. Never watched the first few series but everyone at work was raving about it so thought I would give this one a go. Gave up after 3 episodes. The 2 issues I had were firstly I couldn't hear what was being said, lots of mumbling going on and seconomy the amount of violence. Not my thing at all.
To catch up with what I'd seen positive reviews about, I watched season one on Netflix a couple of months ago by way of intending to work my way through the following seasons in time for the latest, recently broadcast series on BBC. Arresting theme music, and what was an interesting idea for a drama series, and though I realised from episodes 1 and 2 that this was irritating me I did press on through the series in case I was mistaken. I left it at that though.
