Costume Jumble SaleWe are selling off 10,000 items of costume - so take home a unique souvenir from one of our shows. Saturday 23 September 9am - 5pm RSC Rehearsal Rooms, Corner of Arden Street and Birmingham Road. Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6NT Entry £3 per person (cash only) No booking required, just turn up and queue! Items on sale include pieces from The Two Noble Kinsmen (2016), Cymbeline (2016), Othello (2015), Julius Caesar (2009) and other shows from the past 20 years. It includes 12 uniform coats from our 2008 Hamlet, in which David Tennant took the title role. Hats made in our millinery workshop in Stratford will be among the items at our Costume Jumble Sale The stock includes a variety of period costumes, as well as many contemporary items. There will be: Uniforms Armour Suits Shirts Doublets Shoes Jewellery Necklaces Bracelets Millinery Prices start at £1 and you can pay with cash, debit or credit card. We have plans to restore and redevelop our Costume Workshop, housed in an assortment of buildings on Waterside opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The money raised from the Costume Jumble Sale will help to fund the redevelopment.

I would have loved to have gone to this as a costume designer and collector - sadly I'm in Bath that day (well, evening) to see The Real Thing.
Curse my bad scheduling!
I'm trying to tell myself that most of those 10,000 items will either end up being expensive (STARTING at £1 doesn't exactly suggest it isn't still a lot for the good stuff) or not be what I would be after.
