Just booked for Brid Spa! Thanks for the update! This is a show I've wanted to tick off the list for a while so glad to have the opertunity. Brid Spa seems to be a popular venue with sell a door with footloose starting there and American idiot and now this coming too.

I think Ellen Greene has ruined this show for me because no Audrey will ever come close to her. I saw it at the Royal Exchange and it was good, but for me the show hinges on Audrey and it was played as a very 'nothing' role in that case, played shy with zero personality instead of timid but quirky. Would be nice if someone was cast who could really deliver their own version of the role, different to Ellen but still make it exciting and make you love her; someone who can do her big two songs justice.

Can you let me know if Bristol Hippo or Theatre Royal Plymouth are having the show please?? Seems to be touring ATG venues so I would imagine that Bristol will get it. As for Plymouth, not sure!

Are you wishful thinking? He's rather off the wall so he could make a good lunatic dentist I haven't seen any news on this one yet.

Are you wishful thinking? He's rather off the wall so he could make a good lunatic dentist I haven't seen any news on this one yet. It's not particularly marketed well, but it says so on the show description on the Bournemouth website. The website for the Lichfield Garrick just has a photo of him with no announcement! From what I remember, he wasn't that bad in the We Will Rock You tour as Kashoggi.

As I've said before, he's rather left field, so seems a good fit. I wonder if they've managed to get Daniel Boys for Seymour. He played the lead in the Theatre Clwyd production. That would be a result.

A very well thought out response ;-) Do I need to engage with such an abrupt reaction to a short, mundane phrase like "Oh Dear"? You suddenly made it personal out of nowhere. I certainly don't think I need to justify my opinion to you or anyone else. I've been listening to the soundtrack for this recently, I always look forward to seeing shows for the first time.

Um you called me touchy so I think you were the one making it personal. No? Just saying 'Oh dear' is a negative response without obvious substance or justification although I've said it myself at times, so c'est la vie. I simply asked what you based that remark upon. Anyway each to their own. No you don't have to justify your opinion and on the same count neither do I. I dont really come on here to lock horns with anyone. Life's too short. I hope you enjoy the show if you go and see it.

Daniel Boys is too good looking to be Seymour. They'll just stick him in a pair of glasses. Problem solved.

Daniel Boys is too good looking to be Seymour. No he worked really well in the Theatr Clwyd production. Just got the new season Manchester brochure and it is listed as the Clwyd version.

Trust it to come to Sheffield now I have tickets for it in Manchester. I wish touring shows would release all venues at once so you knew which one was closer! It's always either risking a wait and it not coming near you and if it doesn't book somewhere else with rubbish seats or book great seats then find its coming to your town. I know it can never happen as some venues can't commit at the same time but in my dreamworld it works that's way!! Anyway that's my rant over haha.

Surprised it hasn't announced more dates, so only assume it isn't selling too well.mhoping it would come to Dartford or Bromley, ideal to see on a school night.

I think they were offered more but wanted Rhydian is doing Panto. I'm sure it will go out again next year if this year is a success.
