Supporters being offered an immersive experience at £245 a ticket. We get the Donmar with its audience participation which I know not the same but I'm detecting something...a lack of faith in the actual play.

This is presumably the same "experience" that is being offered by ballot later in the year - on-stage seats and a three-course meal.

Anyone else having problems booking? I have two tickets in my basket - and everytime I try to complete the purchase, I'm getting an message saying there is a problem connecting with the ticketing system.

Yes, the NT seems to be seriously messed up this morning - I got a message saying my card hadn't been charged but my card company messaged that it had, and the tickets were in myNT. A DM to NT on Twitter confirmed the booking had gone through. But I'm now trying to book separately for some talks and platforms and it won't even show a seating plan. Suspect the demand for Network has exceeded their expectations.

Queue has been paused for over 15 minutes now - so glad I had nothing else planned this morning...

I wanted just one ticket for any matinee, but after queuing to book in general, there were then queues for individual performances and sometimes the page just disappeared; lastly, about 20 minutes with repeated errors at the checkout stage. I've given up as the stress got too much - plus I do actually have to go out and get on with my life.

That was all a bit shambolic, I swear they let too many people in too quickly at the beginning as I was number 600 in the queue when it opened and was in after 5 minutes.
After much crashing got everything I wanted in a basket, paid and then got an error message and there was no trace of the tickets. Went through it all again, a bit more crashing and finally got a successful payment confirmation. I had a much easier time getting Angels tickets!

Apart from the pause that was not too stressful except for having to re-login again. I was 1000 in the queue and 200 when it paused after 20 minutes. On resuming, the queue seemed to go down at a slower pace so I presume they decreased the number allowed in at any one time. When I reached head of the queue, the Network dates page showed 'on sale to members' even though I had previously logged in. I logged in a again thinking I would have to go to the back of the queue again but it let me buy my tickets straight away. There was good availability for the date I wanted and I got good central row B tickets. Also managed to get a good members free Theatre Quiz ticket - I found you have to allow the system to select the free tickets as they don't show on the seating plan as such, but it gave me the centre of row D.

So who is going for the immersive? Was this in the membership mailout? I just chucked it because I didn't think there would be anything I hadn't seen online. I might get it for a friend's special birthday. Is there a link I didn't see because I didn't read the membership pack?

Got tickets sorted by phone before I was anywhere near the front of the queue. After the initial sign up for notification I havent seen anything about the onstage seating :/

Seems I got that wrong and you can select £0 tickets after all. Just select any seat from the plan, then click on Show Concessions.

At least NT Membership emailed to apologise - a first in my experience & I hope never necessary again.

I had exactly the same experience as fossil (although number 1200 in the queue). Panicked when I finally got through and realised I had to log back in. And it was a bit stressful when you're trying to run a school reception desk at the same time :-)
I seem to remember the National sending me an apologetic email last booking day too. They really do need to sort out their systems once and for all.

So who is going for the immersive? I like the idea of a subversive approach.

I am so fed up with the NT priority booking system. The last 2-3 times I have experienced the queue pausing, the payment process freezing and closing down, despite complaining each time nothing improves. In addition I have been requesting an alternative log in time apart from their standard 8.30am , what do others think about this? How do people who are en route to work cope with this time? I refuse to put up with this 8.30am stress just to get decent seats to see mediocre plays, namely Salome and Common!

You don't all have to book at the same time, at the moment that your tier of booking opens. For example, you can still book for Common and Salome now, several months after the first millisecond that your booking period opened.

You do if u want tics for stuff like Angels, network and follies. 8.30 just seems early and pointless

I wonder why it is still possible to book Common and Salome now several months after priority booking opened? Because both plays are awful!

Left home early this morning to do some work in Slough (well someone's got to) and was really annoyed that I'd left my iPad behind and couldn't book at 8.30. Didn't get back home until 2.00 booked straight away and got everything I wanted easily (including Network) and then only realised it had gone t*ts up earlier. So, in the end, everything for the best and didn't have to suffer the (even worse than usual) 8.30 scrum.

Interesting! Isn't that public booking day? I presume that'll be pushed back as well? Is this just for Network that the dates are being rearranged or all the new shows? Wouldn't be much of a fix if they had all the public battling for Saint George tickets while the advance members flail futilely over Network!
