So. With the announcements of School of Rock, Finding Neverland and (possibly) An American in Paris and The Toxic Avenger, it does seem that we are being spoilt for choice in the near future.
This has me wondering, which other shows do we predict, or want to see on our shores in addition to these? Or do people prefer that London and New York offer a variety of shows rather than transfers?
Personally I'd love a return for the Color Purple and American Psycho. I missed both runs over here and if I were to go over to NY they would be at the top of my list.

And Nice Fish which just finished its run (or was it Off-Broadway?) but this hardly ever happen. Same with Van Hove's Crucible.

Wish a Gentleman's Guide would transfer but haven't heard anything about it so I doubt it's happening

van Hove's Crucible would be amazing - what a cast! Though with the great Old Vic production so recent i doubt it'll happen. Where's the AiP and Toxie rumour come from btw?

Something Rotten and Hamilton for me please. I've got everything crossed for both of these!
Can't imagine who'd play Alexander Hamilton over here though. What a challenging role! Anyone got any suggestions?

I can't comment as I've never seen him but I'm sure your knowledge will be far greater than mine.
Ideally I'd like to see Lin Manuel bring the show here to start off with. Do you think that's likely?

Ideally I'd like to see Lin Manuel bring the show here to start off with. Do you think that's likely? Good question. I could see him opening the London production for a short run, but with two more productions of Hamilton coming up (Chicago in September 2016 and a US tour in March 2017), he'll be pretty busy. He has been with Hamilton for quite a while now and I'm sure he'll need a break at some time. That said: Hamilton seems to be completely sold out until January 2017. That's crazy... I could make a fortune by selling my ticket

Isn't The King and I planning to transfer in 2017? As for wish list, I'd like to see Roundabout's upcoming production of She Loves Me.

with two more productions of Hamilton coming up (Chicago in September 2016 and a US tour in March 2017) I thought it is just one production, first doing a year in Chicago and than starting to tour. correct me if I'm wrong... I am now totally obsessed with Hamilton, so I need it to come to London ASAP, while my visa is still valid Something Rotten is my second choice and Finding Neverland is the third one.

Would love a transfer for Lazarus! Creative team to die for. Pretty certain the producers said after the sad news in January that this would transfer in the fullness of time... ( which can't come quickly enough for me ! )

In no particular order: American in Paris, Hamilton and Fun Home. I'm seeing a few new (for me at least) shows on Broadway in April so the list might grow afterwards.

I'm here to express not a wish for Hamilton to transfer, as I'm sure it shall, but a wish for the Broadway cast to come over for at least the first three months, as there are many more talented cast members than Lin-Manuel Miranda, and I feel a bit sad when I think about people who aren't ever going to get to see them in their roles. It would be nice to have even a limited opportunity for the UK.

I'll add my voice to the Something Rotten chorus, since I missed out on it in New York last summer (partly a conscious decision because I had already read somewhere it was planning a transfer to London).
Would love to see Big Fish appear somewhere, even if it's "only" at the Southwark Playhouse which seems to be great at staging Broadway stuff recently.

As far as I know, it will be a sit-down of Hamilton in Chicago as well as a tour. Similar to Mormon, which had a tour, then a sit-down in Chicago which then went on to tour after it'd been in Chicago for about a year.
