As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, Daniel Day-Lewis has announced his retirement from acting - he hasn't done any theatre work since that ahem, unique performance of Hamlet in 1989, but he has left some truly great screen performances for us to enjoy in the meantime, hopefully to have a change of mind sometime in the future. Did anyone here get to see him on stage, and does anyone have any favourite film performances?
