Horrific. Hard to be certain what is going on - but it is just so scary.
But I will still be going to London next Saturday and still volunteering for Pride next month.

Remember not to leap to conclusions, or speculate too hard, or throw out accusations, or believe the earliest news reports. Stay safe, and if your loved ones are all accounted for, you may as well go to bed and take stock in the morning.

I just can't deal, it makes me so angry, so upset. All the emotions, I know, dude. These are pretty alarming times, and all the easy immediate access to news reports definitely doesn't help. It's okay to feel angry and upset, and it's also okay to say "I can't handle this right now", turn off the news, and look after yourself. |

At least 5 known people injured in the London Bridge attack according to BBC News, with apparentĺy an involved stabbing following the van incident.

My student accommodation is only about 500 metres away from the incident, and I have never found walking back between 10:30-11:00 pm to be intimidating or scary. Police are literally everywhere.
