Going in a few weeks and I can’t wait. Quality young casts with everyone giving their all are always exciting, whatever the show. After the criticisms levelled at the last few V’s It’ll be interesting to see a new interpretation. It's the direction and not the actresses that were the problem. All the women themselves are very talented, just made to do such stupid things. Thankfully that problem seems like it might be over - Ailsa was way less over the top and unnatural. I hope you enjoy the show!

Hello, I’m new to the theatre board (been reading them long before creating an account, but only recently made one) so I’m not quite sure if this is the right place to put this message/if this is an ok question to put on here(feel free to remove if it is not), but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a Heathers UK Tour Souvenir Brochure (the £10 ones with the tour cast photos in)…I regret not getting one when I went! If anyone could help me out (willing to pay full price) that would be great! Thank you!

You could have a look on the Kenwright.com website and see if there is anyone to contact, or maybe if you have a programme from the tour date you could see who the company manager was for the tour?

Thank you, I got one of the little programmes with all the names in so I’ll have a look through that, and try emailing!

Saw this last night as friend had a spare ticket, second time with ‘new’ cast. Was hoping to catch Freddie as JD as had heard great things but Jacob was on again (he is brilliant!) - surprising for lead to be off so much?! Show is great though, what a star Ailsa is!

Had my first trip ever today to see this show and was pleasantly surprised. I arrived and noticed the very young female-heavy demographic in the audience and expected this to just not be my thing. Whilst I felt some of the ensemble looked too old to be in high school, I can’t deny the energy that was radiated off the stage. Emma Kingston is clearly a star and it was great to see her getting such a huge applause. I don’t know where Aisla Davidson has been hiding - what a gem of a performer! Absolutely floored by her - incredible emotions and great voice. Wasn’t sure if I’d be able to catch Freddie King but when I saw that boyish grin first emerge in Act I… WOW. The musical goes into some dark places and these 2 give it their all. It’s a shame he’s had to miss so many shows as others have pointed out but in this final month of the run, I sincerely hope he’ll make an impression on the remaining audiences.
I also wish we had a more updated programme. No new photos which is a pity. Also had 2 girls next to me who thought they were really funny and made comments throughout the show, even during quiet moments. Still, this wasn’t enough to ruin this evening for me. This is a golden cast who clearly value performing and give their audiences their money’s worth. The show far surpassed my expectations and I hope sceptics will be willing to give this latest incarnation a chance.

I must echo the sentiment that this is the strongest cast yet. Ailsa Davison was just incredible this afternoon. She is quite, quite special isn’t she? U/S JD on again with 3 days of stubble…17? I think not; do we know what’s up with Freddie King? Such a great show. We were sat in the front row but I was lucky enough not to get the extended ‘Steve’ treatment. A spotlight? Seriously? I would not be impressed.
edit: Forgotten to say, sitting front row means you get to hear people singing their individual harmony lines clearly, rather than the whole mix. Hats off to Kram and Hannah Lowther who sounded ace!

I think Freddie King has been struggling with illness since he tested positive for COVID last year. He posted something on his Instagram stories about trying to come back (on Tuesday this week) but it was too soon and so he was off again from the next day.

I would not be impressed. Both times I've been to the latest production, "Steve" has been sat in the centre of the third row. Completely agree this cast is very strong. I think they've also worked out the type of fanbase that attends (very few first time attendees and they are sat very close), so it is all staged accordingly. I will be back again myself before this closes, but whenever I've tried for rush seats recently I've only been offered the back two rows. Regardless, I suspect this will be brought back again to the Other Palace in the future. It works perfectly in that venue and attracts an audience.

In a move that will surprise no-one - extended until 1st May! Glad to see they've had great success in this new run at The Other Palace.

His contract probably won't be extended - Kenwright doesn't like multiple absences.

I get this show sells, but I wish TOP wouldn't pretend to be 'the home of new musicals' when are far as we know, the first year of programming is all shows that are at least 5+ years old and all have already had london runs... Just don't lie, its annoying.

Just don't lie, its annoying. They did announce six or seven new musicals being given studio runs - I know it's not the whole way there but Heathers' UK life started in the same way!

Caught this again this weekend and it was an absolute joy. What a glorious cast. We had covers on for JD (Jacob Fowler) & Kurt (Jordon Cunningham - I think his first show). I seemto have been lucky catching Freddie King previously as he's been off so often - I thought Jacob did an excellent job, particuarly in act 2 where he was very convincingly unhinged, but I did prefer Freddie. Jordon did a good job as Kurt but looked far far far far (!) too old which was distracting but not his fault. He looked so thrilled to be there and his castmates seemed thrilled for him at the bows so that was sweet. Anyway so glad it's extended - I harbour a small hope of catching Kayleigh as Veronica and/or Hannah as Heather C at some point but won't hold my breath!

Freddie has just confirmed on insta that he has withdrawn from the production due to health reasons. Oh that's a shame as I thought he was great, but probably sensible as he's had to be off so much. I wonder if they'll replace him or Jacob for the rest of the run.

Long Covid (if thats what it is, is unpredictable and frustrating. He’d be feeling fine to do it one day then wiped out the next). Doesn’t the cover have to go off on tour with Little Mix soon?

I presume that there will be a few cast changes anyway. I think a few cast members have other jobs lined up and will not be able to commit to the extension. So they may bring in a new JD and cover JD in from the date that the show was originally meant to close on.

I'm seeing this on Tuesday, very very much looking forward to it. I was originally meant to see the UK tour in December, then tested positive for covid on the morning of the show so obviously couldn't go. Hoping it'll be worth the wait for this cast who have been the best reviewed of the three from this/last year.

Kram are a bit too knowingly gay (the constant cock bumping a bit too much) Fleming, Martha etc are good. If it’s taken everything that has gone before to get to here then fair play.
