I have 2 tickets going spare today in the upper circle if anyone would like them? We got better ones in the today tix rush so I’m happy to pay them forward. Class act. Well done mate. I hope they didn't go to waste. They have I’m afraid. We still ended up getting £65 tickets for £25, wasted 2x £15 ones so all told I don’t feel cheated and we are slap bang central stalls instead of dire restricted view upper circle I’d bought in place of ‘Cinderella’. X

Thanks for the offer, sorry I ended up at Hairspray (story about that one to follow), but hope someone used the seats.

What happened this afternoon was someone put the wrong mic on the Veronica.

But nothing at all happened. No music, just lights and silence and poor Christina stood on the steps cringeing. All was resolved after ten minutes and they delivered another cracking show. This is just a constantly evolving delight. Jordan Luke Gage has found his character, a bit of emotion mixed in with his psychopath. Christina Bennington is an absolute joy, or rather her Veronica is. I’ll look forward to the tour cast to inhabit the characters without the baggage of what they have done before, and also to seeing Cinderella at some point!

Hi, new member here! Wasn’t sure where else to go to ask this, but does anyone know what the view is like from the ‘severely restricted’ seats at Heathers? I only saw the show at the Other Palace and want to take my friend now it’s on the west end again!

I’ve sat in the ones on the end of row A in the dress circle (I sat in the one further from the stage, not the one by the wall). Be prepared to lean forwards, but if you can do that the view is fine. You’ll just miss the back corner on the side of the stage nearest to you.

Currently at the matinee. Interval. Firstly I’ll be amazed if I make it out of here without Covid. There are very few masks. Secondly… this is honestly the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Act 1 goes on and on and on and on. I am shocked at its popularity when it’s so badly written

So act 2 was much better.
Just want to give a shout out to the theatre manager who, during the interval, was going around to the maskless people and asking them to put masks on - few obliged. There were 13 masks in the whole of the royal circle. He then appeared on stage and asked everyone to put masks on prior to act 2, which seemed to work!

What is the audience like for this cast? I am seeing it tomorrow night and I couldn’t stand the rowdy audience from TOP and the original Haymarket run. The show still has an obsessive following but were the rowdy ones just CHF fans or are they still around now?

Cast members getting pulled into discussions about a group of audience members who are accused of “bullying” anyone outside of their circle who gets too close to the show/cast. No idea if that translates to rowdiness but it’s a nasty business.

I know a member of the cast and they are over the moon that the theatre has the current no meeting the cast anywhere policy! That’s been one of the sources of arguments. No stage dooring but accusations that a select few are being allowed to meet Christina Bennington and Jordan Luke Gage after the show and someone has the photos to prove it (apparently). It’s all very childish and pathetic. But thats probably because the individuals involved seem to be pathetic children. Sadly CB seems to be another Carrie HF when it comes to her social media which can only encourage this sort of rancid behaviour.

I'd never heard of Bennington until I saw it last weekend. Her reveal at the start of the show literally got screams and applause that rivalled Goldberg appearing on stage during her run as Mother Superior. Literally to the point it momentarily stopped the show. I thought it was because theatre has only recently reopened, but I guess not. I just don't get it. I genuinely thought it was the worst thing I've ever seen. Act 1 felt like it was never-ending.

Another thing that hugely bothered me about Heathers is the constant homophobic language. Now, as a gay guy, I'm fine with it being used as a laugh in the context of a show, right? I'm not sensitive at all when it comes to this, actually. It's just words and it doesn't really bother me. Legally Blonde's "Gay or European?" is a perfect example of this, right? Arguably somewhat offensive, but done respectfully and in a genuinely funny way. I felt that Heathers went too far. Continuous and repetitive chants of "homo" throughout the entire thing, clearly to get cheers from the crowd mentioned above. There were genuinely moments where I didn't feel I was in on the "joke" (for it wasn't a joke) and instead was the butt of it and moments where I genuinely felt uncomfortable.

I hated it when I saw it with CHF. I thought it was inane and the singing by all the leads horribly screechy. The sets were hideous too. I fail to understand its appeal.

Truly a musical with no redeeming features at all IMHO. And SO cheap! (Feel for teenagers now really who think this is the pinnacle of theatre compared to what those of us growing up in the 70s/80s/90s had.) And the stage door/social media behaviour of the "fans" is just vile. Though they are caught up in everything that is bad in the social media age I suppose, and lost in it's insane frenzy, so perhaps not personally to blame; if feeling charitable!

Well I love it! I loved the film and I really like this cast. I understand totally how it’s fanbase are irritating and everything the show preaches against but I just blocked them out. The movie was a huge part of my late teens and university experience. I can see that the older generation might not appreciate it, but the bullying and homophobia are massive plot points and certainly not glamorised. The results of people’s actions are clearly demonstrated.
