I love the cast recording of Heathers but I always skipped "The Me Inside Of Me" however I loved it in the show. Just shows how staging and context can alter your enjoyment/opinion of a song. This was exactly how I felt too! LOVE it now...especially 'Myriad...nice!'

The audience when I saw Heathers was certainly loud and enthusiastic but were also probably one of the most mesmerised and respectful I have ever experienced. I was in rob B to the side and looked up quite a few times to see a bank of wide eyes and open mouths taking in every word, note and movement. Never once did the applause and cheering after each song affect the ongoing of the show, and there wasn't any inconsiderate or inappropriate behaviour from anyone, before during or after the show. The same can't be said from some more 'adult' audience members at other shows (Tina, Bat, Motown - even Hamilton) and I know which I would prefer to be part of. Agreed! I had to shush a lady at The King and I on Wednesday afternoon during Getting to Know You!

Steve isn't necessarily just on the low numbers side of the auditorium, I was picked out today and was sat in A19 Ooh. I’m in A7. I hope Rebecca doesn’t choose me! How hellish is it though?

I just thought it was really funny, I didn't mind it but that's just me. I was wearing a stripey blue top and she made a comment about how I should only be wearing the sailor costume in the bedroom... So just be prepared for anything!

I’m a little disappointed in whoever is running the workshop this week. People had to send in a video of them singing a Heathers song & the creatives choose four singers to ‘workshop’ a song with. It turns out that two of those chosen are You Tubers with Heathers songs all over their channels and basically just a great big ad campaign.
My ‘Dead Girl Walking’ would have slayed them all! 😂😂😏😏

This is nuts. Like. Completely nuts.
And please can the screaming stop - I’m on the front row and can’t hear.
Otherwise, it’s alright, but I don’t get the hype. Or the screaming.

I don’t think I’ve ever come bck round so much in show. It didn’t feel like my kind of show at the interval. But I loved the second half and looking back on Act 1 I was possibly a bit harsh.
Cast are universally strong - especially Rebecca Lock, Jodie Steele, Jamie Muscato and T’Shan Williams. It’s a proper laugh - but the teenage girls sobbing all round me was really heartwarming - it’s nice to know they have a musical that affects them so much.
4 star show from me in the end - it must have a further life.

What were they crying for? It’s supposed to be a comedy isn’t it?

What were they crying for? It’s supposed to be a comedy isn’t it? It is very dark Burls...perhaps the tragic elements had got to them? 😂 EVERYBODY STOP AND LOOK AT MEEEEEEE! LOOK, I BELONG TOO! YES! I UNDERSTAND THE JOKES TOO! LIKE ME, LIKE ME! ....and it was ever thus. The Beatles, David Cassidy, Bros, One Direction, Bieber, Jacqueline Hughes...adulation, love, enabled by the need to sell a product.

I remember being at closing night of Parade at the Hope Mill a couple of years ago and of course that is very sad in Act 2. There was a bunch of teens who, because of the seating configuration, were in my line of sight. As the drama unfolded one of the girls started sobbing, then her friend followed and so on until all the girls were in tears. To my amusement I then saw some “looks” being shot at the boys who finally got the message and joined in too.
Peer pressure eh?
Still at least they’re not round the back of a bus station smoking crack eh.

There will still have been the ‘alternative’ one that thought it was “ghastly” causing them all to fall out for a bit on the tube home.

Alternatively I could write a blog post or film a YouTube video and I’d probably be invited backstage at The Lion King.

Saw this yesterday - really enjoyed it and would probably go back (if there were any tickets). I enjoyed Carrie's performance, though I would have preferred a little more control at a few points. She seemed to me to be more suited to the comedy aspects of it, it worked for Heathers as there's an element of comedy to the majority of it, not sure I'd see her in anything dramatic. Rebecca Lock was fantastic - of course - those were some seriously great vocals on 'Shine a Light'.
Not sure I like the replacement of 'Blue' with 'You're Welcome'. It makes the boys seem far more malevolent (instead of just thoughtless, rude, stupid teenage boys). It was really well done though.
The audience were going nuts, and occasionally it felt a bit OTT. But you know what - it was at the end of songs and nobody was making a nuisance of themselves by chatting, rustling or generally being noisy otherwise, so I'll take it. I'm not counting the occasional excited noises from the teenage girls near me when they realised a favourite song was beginning.

I know it’s a long shot but does anyone have a spare ticket to Heathers or know how I can get one? Thanks I’m desperate to see it. Thanks 😊

I've seen odd tickets being added every now and again. They've all been top price though (£65/£75) so as long as you're prepared to pay for them you may be lucky.
