...is everything. That is all.
And don't pretend I'm the only person who made a special trip to Sainsbury's to buy it on release day, I know you gays.

Does Claire still scrunch her nose up when she sings?

I've got three copies (had them ordered since first announced). I so wanted to start this thread but I thought I'd get shouted at by someone. My favourites at the moment (other than Scared of the Dark) are Happy, Firefly and I Will Love Again.

I wouldn't have been able to physically buy a copy anywhere else since HMV in Brighton closed. I remember buying 'Gold: Greatest Hits' in Woolworths.

Harmless, feel good, fun tunes.
What's not to love?
I am definitely Team Faye as she's been in our local panto for the last couple of years.

For the Take That album only Mark bothered to write his full name. Apart from that we got a "H" and a "G". Pathetic!

Their hands must be claws by now. It's my first ever signed thing by Steps despite being a fan forever - always too shy. I do have something signed by Faye because she used to live on my road and someone else asked her for it (I wasn't there). Anyway, I really hope this isn't the last new music we'll ever have. Anyone going to the tour??

I take grave exception to the stereotyping in SamB's post. I will openly admit to being gay, so why does that infer I should make a special trip to Sainsbury's to buy a Steps album? They are sooo yesterday. Now if there was a new album by Judy Garland, Dorothy Squires, Alma Cogan or Dusty Springfield, I would rush to my local record store. But to have the audacity to suggest I would go to Sainsbury's. Well frankly that is a steps to far.

YESSSSSS! By myself, because, while my boyfriend will go to Sainsbury's for me, he won't come and sit through 16 songs he doesn't like and One For Sorrow at the O2.

That is what boyfriends are for. But please be careful next time. I always think it is a shame Waitrose don't sell L.P's don't you?

I'll be there too and I'll probably be tempted to go to Wembley as well as it's nearer to me. I'm taking Mother because she always used to take me lol. Last time they played the O2, I was in a corporate box which was miles away from the stage, but had a waiter so we didn't have to leave our seats to get wine which was very dangerous!

Steps were my guilty pleasure back in the day and I thought little Lisa was cute. I'm never sure whether fans want new music from reformed bands or just want to hear the hits.
The tour is no doubt going to be very popular too.
Although they were pitched as a tenybopper band back in the day, it was clear that their appeal was much wider as although they didn't sell quite as many singles as other bands whose fan base would propel them to number one. Steps certainly sold more concert tickets so had a wider and more mature fanbase. Certainly the guilty pleasure and Pink pound played a big part in this.

I love this thread!!! :-) Steps have been my favourite band for the past 20 years, so of course I have the new album. I love it, and my favourite tracks are Story of a Heart, and Neon Blue. It's classic Steps, just what I expected, and takes me right back to the good old days. I didn't know we could still buy CDs anywhere nowadays, so ordered it online, great to have it signed.
I've met 4 of them, excluding Claire, by following their theatre careers. I've seen Lee and Faye the most - I'm also local to Faye's most recent pantos. And I have tickets for the tour, can't wait!!

Listened to the album. Not sure about it at all but my daughter thinks its the best thing since the last thing she really liked. I will be going to the tour as it will earn me valuable 'best Dad' points.
