Have just been watching a few clips of Jodie on I'd Do Anything, and from the first audition, it is just so clear that she was going to be the winner in my eye. A terrific singer, fun and bubbly personality and great charm. And luckily, she has proved she can act too! Obviously she is on tour until November with Shirley Valentine, and she is part of a new musical in December, but I can't wait to see what she does next.

It was announced recently that she is doing panto this year at the Liverpool Empire (Fairy Godmother in Cinderella) with Duncan James.

Fat Friends is also set to tour after Leeds (and after her panto now, I assume), so if that happens, that'll keep her busy for a bit!

I would love Jodie to come back and have a big leading, or at least large supporting role, in a West End musical or play. Sadly, I don't think she "fits the image" of a lot of the big Broadway transfers, which is a real shame. Whilst it's great to see she is busy, I can't help but think she is better than the work she is often presented with.

She is doing the tour of ‘A Taste Of Honey’...,big shoes to fill with the immortal Dora Bryan’s portrayal of the Mother.

She's just toured in Abigail's Party and she's starring in Annie soon, so she has a good variety of work compared to many actors.

She's doing Miss Hannigan in Annie also this summer. She is certainly keeping herself busy but at the same time still playing some quality roles.
