Apart from being on a show for 5 seconds as part of a show we had in Northern Ireland when I was 9/10, called "School Around The Corner" (2 hours of filming for 5 seconds of screen time, we missed our break because of it, wasn't amused) I haven't, but my 2nd cousin Jeff Anderson did "Superstar" and was then understudy Jesus (even though he never got to play Jesus), then he did "The Voice"...and then he had a few shall I say, personal issues which can be googled...and now my side of the family pretty much don't have contact anymore. Haha I was on School Around the Corner as well back in the day - I think I was about 6 or 7! That is my only claim to fame!

Haha Im so happy someone else on here was subjected to that show...although I actually forgot all about being on it until my mum brought it up recently, by telling her friends I have sang on TV...knowing that my only ever time on TV was me and a group of my mates in primary school being forced to sing Robbie Williams' 'Kids' for 2 hours and then have them only use the last line of the song actually makes me want to curl up in a corner and cry...but apparently it made my mother proud, as she still brings it up in conversation 16 years later.

I was a contestant on the BBC's Off By Heart Shakespeare a few years back. Didn't get past the regional rounds though. Totally forgot until about it I was reading through this thread!

Not a talent show but infamous in hindsight, I sat behind Jim on the beanbags on Jim'll Fix It in 1975. My brother's 'fix' was to meet Peter Cushing.

I have an acquaintance who sees himself as a bit of a singer and claims that he was on Stars in their Eyes. However how much truth there is to that rains to be seen.
