Does anyone know if I can exchange tickets for an ATG show at the theatre's box office or do I have to phone the number on their website?

Does anyone know if I can exchange tickets for an ATG show at the theatre's box office or do I have to phone the number on their website? Their FAQs has a full section on this at www.atgtickets.com/customer-care/getting-my-theatre-tickets/But essentially "Subject to availability and an exchange fee, yes you can. Exchanges can be processed by contacting our Customer Services team on 020 8544 7469."

So has to be done over the phone, they won't let me do it at the theatre?

So has to be done over the phone, they won't let me do it at the theatre? You should be able to do it at the theatre if it's the theatre you booked at/that's where the show is. I've done it before!

I booked online but passing by the theatre later and rather do things face to face rather than on the phone!

I've actually been transferred direct to the theatre in the past by ATG, so I don't see why the theatre themselves couldn't do it if you're passing!

I tried to get through to the Liverpool Empire box office the other day and there's no number published. You have to go through the ATG call centre and. even then they wouldn't put me through to the theatre.

I call in to the theatre if at all possible, and have had no problems. The only time I phoned to change a ticket they were extremely unhelpful. In fact, thinking about it, whenever I have phoned ATG about anything I have had a nightmare, but that's another story (I always book on line).

They keep you on hold for ages and haven't replied to my emails. Despite having ATG membership and cheap Row C seats for 'Woolf' having sold out for the run, they wouldn't refund my two tickets. Hence - please see my other thread if you are interested in my tickets for May! Thanks.

If you're a member though you'll be able to exchange to a different day!

It was for Virginia Woolf so it's strange they wouldn't let you change.

It's a clear benefit of the card and the T&C's of being a member!!

Yeah, I just checked the website and it's definitely listed. You should call and complain, they can't advertise a benefit then refuse to give it to you for no good reason. Even if it's too late to get an exchange, they need to know you've been messed around.

Hi! I think i need your help! How long does ATG block Tickets when selected but not paid?
I tried booking tickets for Lion king, got so far to choose the payment, but then my computer did not work anymore, so i tried again when it worked again, but now the tickets are not "free" anymore to choose, it has been a hour already and still they are not able to select? but i did not get any confirmation for them either?
