Kubo is a great film, I could see that winning. But I imagine it being Zootopia or Moana taking the win!

Oh I am so glad Piper won! Such a cute and beautiful little short before Finding Dory!

Kubo is a great film, I could see that winning. But I imagine it being Zootopia or Moana taking the win! Moana has no chance, it hasn't won anything awards wise so far and Disney have pushing Zootropolis more.

Oh I am so glad Piper won! Such a cute and beautiful little short before Finding Dory! First Pixar short to win in a long time. It's a good short but I much preferred Inner Workings which was paired with Moana, much funnier short.

Ah, here we go with the La La Land wins... looking at the announcements, from here onward I expect to see a lot more of La La Land. It has a chance of winning most of its other nominations!

Well at least La La Land won't be a dud and get none of its noms!

It'll be interesting which of this year's animated films will fare awards wise next year, it's not as strong a year compared to last year. I could see them nominating The Lego Batman Movie to make up for not nominating The Lego Movie first time around. Pixar's Coco also looks likely too.

Not surprised by The Jungle Book winning Visual Effects, especially considering the entire thing was visual effects other than the young boy!
Expecting La La Land to win Editing next...

Not surprised by The Jungle Book winning Visual Effects, especially considering the entire thing was visual effects other than the young boy! It'd be more of a shock if it didn't win! Shows how far CGI have progressed. Kubo was visually stunning and really showed off how good stop motion can be but Jungle Book edged it.

Wow, didn't expect so much love for Hacksaw Ridge, especially with all the Mel Gibson stuff, but glad to see it do well!

Can someone prod me or something as I'm nodding off. My dry run last night evidently didn't work.

Halfway through now... I imagine from here on out, a couple of surprises, as there always is but there hasn't been massive ones yet... and La La Land will begin to pick up its wins.
