If Cheek by Jowl want to make a film then why don't they just do that ? I know like almost all UK theatre directors they are frustrated film directors so just get on and do it. What they should not do is belatedly reveal that their Winters Tale at Silk Street is to be filmed OVER SEVERAL PERFORMANCES entirely (and still) unannounced on the booking website so that people who have booked already in a block of front centre stalls seats are now being told they have to move to less good seats mostly right behind the cameras they are going to put in that space instead of paying theatregoers.
