I had tickets in my basket but got timed out and am now stuck in a queue of over 2000 people...
I'll persevere but ATG make enough money to install a proper ticket system...

Same here, keep getting a site under maintenance message! I haven't booked at this venue - do bargains turn up later, or do other ticket sites allow you to pick a seat?

Through to the seat selection and it doesn't seem to want to let me go through to payment. Hmm.

Got called away from computer at pressing moment and now seem to have frozen but since I'm clearly not going to pay these large amounts not quite sure why I'm still not walking away... oh the sweet smell of tickets!

Do you not get to pick the date either? I have no date options?

Do you not get to pick the date either? I have no date options? You got a date option (via the calendar) but no choice of seats, just price bracket.

Friends of CFT can book through the CFT website, I've just had a quick look and got straight through to the seating plan to choose seats.

Got an e-mail from Chichester Festival Theatre giving members access to tickets from their website at 12:00, fortunately became a member last year specifically for this production. (a nice bonus as my membership runs out at the end of the month and will not likely renew unless there is something really special in the Summer season)
Access was quick and efficient, able to select date and seats with no issues, chose a middle/rear stalls seat and there was no booking fee.
A lot of the stalls seats have been removed for the production, therefore not too far from the stage and happy to see this again.

I made it to the end of the queue only to have the dreaded “internal error” message appear. Had to start all over again with over 2000 ahead of me. Oh well, it’s early here in Florida and I’ve got nothing to do.

Got thrown off again. I got a message saying “ your request had parameters that may have been tampered with”. And I thought Telecharge here in the US was bad. Worst ticketing site I’ve ever dealt with. I’m joining CFT

Was the queue from hell when I tried booking at noon, just gone back and got in straight away, got row A stalls for early August without any trouble, but just wish I'd had the opportunity to pick my own seat. Expensive but still cheaper than No Mans Land (in the West End anyway).

I went in at 11.55am and was 200 in queue. Got to my turn only to receive the "tampered with parameters" message. Back in and was then 1600 in queue. Phoned ATG and got through to a lady named Lauren who was amazing. Went through the whole saga then just when I was about to book, the phone line went dead. I was about to smack my head off a wall when she phoned me back, to save me queuing again. What a star!

Do you get to choose your own seat if you book over the phone, or do you have no option?

You can choose your own from the descriptions of the various prices they give you. I did miss having a seating plan in front of me though.
