Courtesy of #AskRufus today...
Upon a question about a revival of Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman, Time Out responded with "Martin McDonagh told us that Pillowman is definitely getting a West End revival this year".
It was rumoured earlier this year that Colin Morgan would be involved.
I'll take that.

I certainly hope this is true. I've only ever seen the grainy recording of the last NT production on a TV screen at the archive and just that had a profound effect on me. God help me if I see it live.

I saw it at the Leicester Curve a number of years back. The main thing that lingers in the brain from that one is how much Paul Ready's Michal voice sounded like the Moon from The Mighty Boosh. It's a terrific play that I'd be well up for revisiting, but I'm not entirely sure I'd be happy being in a theatre with Colin Morgan fans again.

Well this is another one of those plays which divided me from my fellows. I didn't like it.
