So I'm spending some of my Sunday preparing a presentation for a symposium where I'm speaking about Rent fans and I google 'WhatsonStage forum' because I wanted logos for all the major chat sites from back in the day....and what is the image that comes up, but a screengrab with my own avatar posting in the....bad behaviour in a show thread. Of course. www.pocketsizetheatre.com/2014/05/you-know-youre-stagey-when.html

I spent three hours in a field, just so I could see the Tour de France zoom by within a minute. Still, it was oddly worth it.

Ye gods, they don't half fly by! I had a lovely day. Drove up to Tywyn, walked to the end of the seafront then onto a near deserted beach, balanced a rock (yay!) and spent a couple of hours just staring at the sea looking for dolphins (which we didn't see - boo...). Fab.

Enjoyed Justin Bieber, hated the journey home at the hands of Southern Fail. Train arrived just about on time to head back dowm to brighton. SASTA (southern are sorry to announce) wanted to divide it and just send 4 carriages back to Brighton in spite of the fact the platform was full along the length of the 12 carriage train. Discussions between the driver and platform staff and calls to the control room dragged this process on for 20 minutes before common sense led to them allowing it to run as a 12 carriage train. By this time though it meant we would miss the last bus home and spend money on a cab instead. Frustratingly we missed said bus by one minute.

I've just amused myself with a thought, that an alternative universe exists, where Audra McDonald frequents this board and has the same profile pic as I have now. She loves me so much, she went all the way to London to see me in concert with meet and greet at the end.

The weather isn't helping - what happened to summer?! Towards the end of last week I went out in the morning and there were people wearing coats.

Mind you this time next week I will be in California, and will doubtless be complaining about how hot it is!

My day was ok but I've managed to forget just how horrible spending the whole day in an office is. It really doesn't help when you're all on your own in a windowless room with air conditioning that can never be controlled to be pleasant. As soon as you turn it off the room is like an oven and when you turn it on it's freezing. Luckily that's probably my only full office day any time soon, it'll be back to only spending about two hours a day maximum in it till October so that's good.

Someone has stolen a punnet of raspberries from the fridge in work and the impending investigation is ongoing...

My money's on the raspberries having been in there longer than anyone realised, and someone threw them away because they'd started to go furry. Keep us posted!

Given the usual state of things I'm inclined to agree. Our section boss was spotted with some yesterday but is currently in a meeting...more as our investigation unfolds...

@emicardiff I think there is a more dramatic twist to this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balladyna_(drama)"In order to get a husband, the sisters compete with each other in collecting raspberries; the one who fills a pitcher first will marry Kirkor. When Balladyna finds out that Alina is winning, she kills her with a knife. The only witness to that is Grabiec, whom Goplana turns into a weeping willow so that he wouldn’t tell anyone about the murder. After coming back home Balladyna claims that her sister ran away with a lover. The only things reminding Balladyna of the crime she committed is a bloody stain on her forehead that cannot be removed, pangs of remorse and terrible nightmares. The body of the dead girl is found by Filon who falls in love with her."
