Hi all, I wanted to drop you a few words about myself and my plans for 2017. My name is Michal, originally from Poznan, Poland but living in Edinburgh since 2012. I'm not an artist or a theatre professional, just a theatre lover (especially musical theatre). Since I like musicals so much, I decided to see as much things as I can in 2017. So far I got tickets for the following shows in Edinburgh Playhouse: - Wonderland (already saw it and liked it)
- Thoroughly Modern Millie (already saw it and liked it <but cringed at Mrs Meers>)
- Evita (seeing next week)
- The Commitments (March)
- La Cage Aux Folles (March)
- Sister Act (April)
- Funny Girl (April)
Last Sunday I saw Cynthia Erivo in London and loved every second of it. Apart from that I am planning to see Audra McDonald in April, Dreamgirls in May or June and loads of shows during Edinburgh Fringe.
I hope to enjoy this year as much as I can!

I wouldn't have known what it was like back then, as I was 3 years old You should go now! It's really nice for a weekend city break. Thank you, although I'm more of a forum lurker, I do appreciate a place where people write about things I like (at least my poor partner who doesn't share my love to the theatre doesn't have to listen to me babbling).

I have a few "confirmed" and a few unconfirmed yet:
April/May in London The Life, Dreamgirls (x2), Wonderland (Wimbledon), Whisper House, and catching Notre Dame De Paris in Geneva. Maybe Half a Sixpence or The Girls in London too, but undecided on that.
May in the US Hamilton (Chicago), Hello Dolly, Sunset blvd, Amelie, Anastasia, War Paint, Hedwig tour in Boston
not sure what's happening in the summer...
November (London) Sunset Blvd tour (Birmingham), Hamilton, I'm sure there will be more by then.
December (US) Not sure yet...Too early to tell.

Wow, ali973 makes my plans look so bland! I wish I could see as much as you are, but living in Scotland gives me limited possibilities.
