Booked cheap £45 seats for the "3 Chekhovs in a day" this morning but a right scramble to find any cheap front tickets....in the end I think I probably got 2 singles that had been thrown back by people (perhaps if credit cards failed?) Anyway, checking tonight all the cheap seats have gone, but strangely half of the auditorium is sold out for each date....with the RHS as you look at the stage being well sold but the usual patchy mix of seats left...not a single seat on the LHS available....I think they may be holding some of the seats back?

I booked tickets yesterday, the website was slow and it was hard to find good seats at a reasonable price. I ended up losing my ticket basket and having to start over as the NT as the shopping timer told me I had more time to pay than I had, what I don't understand is why when logged in and with tickets in my basket, I ended up losing all of them?

Quick and painless for me this morning. I nabbed myself a £15 Deep Blue Sea ticket (there weren't many left by the looks) right at the back in the corner (practically in the circle bar I think). I'm hoping Helen McCrory goes for the big hair route so that I can pick her out on the stage.

Good point peggs. But I won't stand in the rain. Heaven forfend. I'm thinking of the tourists and the all the masses of people who trawl the south bank in the summer and then wonder what to do in the evening. A cheap one standing at the Globe where they can walk out and anyway if it is Shakespeare how bad can it be ( don't answer that! ) is going to win over a much more expensive tic at the unwelcoming NT cave like structure of a play nobody knows. I booked 2 £15 tickets for everything Except rip off Dorfman £37 last preview as hate the upper levels Absolutely no queuing to book at Supporting Cast level and above and I have gotten so used to front row Lyttleton is a real bargain with leg room to boot I am sure Deep Blue Sea will be a hit for the acting (McCrory can do no harm). Perhaps I should be more choosy but feel obliged to book anything that goes on sale at the NT. Cough, cough. You moaning about the cost of Dorfman tickets but doesn't supporting cast cost upwards of exuberant £600?

Totally forgot about NT booking. Thank heavens for this forum 'saving me'
As I'm in a new job I had to take my smart phone to the loo. Thankfully it was painless and Threepenny Opera here I come

Regards the Plough and the Stars as this year marks the centenary of the Easter Rising it would seem rude not to go see it.

Booked for Threepenny Opera and Deep Blue Sea; also cracked and went for the Villa thing but the NT is in last chance saloon with me regarding new plays so it better be good! Am buggered if I'm playing £50+ for the three Chekhovs - am hoping to see them through Friday Rush but I won't weep into my pillow if I miss them. Ditto Plough.
Looking forward to some of the Shakespeare talks.

Threepenny Opera booked, and I leapt on a lucky £15 ticket for The Deep Blue Sea as well. Now stuck in a queue for the Chekhovs, but I may end up booking the next batch of dates for that anyway. Much easier than I thought it would be this morning!

That was the easiest NT booking I've had in a long time. I'm not sure I trust it! Got everything I wanted though, including a front row ticket for The Deep Blue Sea which surprised me too!

As soon as I try to put something in my basket I get a 'Your session has expired' so irritating.

Oh no, foxa, that's a pain. Crossing my fingers for you!
The Chekhovs have sold pretty well by the looks of things. Had to spend into the £20s on a couple of them but hey, it crosses them off my list at least...

And...I give up. The website now says it's down. I've been trying for a half hour. Only wanted Threepenny Opera so not a big deal.

Hey, there's always Friday rush, or you can stalk the website for returns, or failing that it should be extending past the current booking period. Just a shame you couldn't get it ticked off today.

Thanks! I knew you would feel my pain. But I wasn't true to my word and didn't give up. I moved to another computer and got two £15 tix (not together but hey) for Threepenny on a Friday in June. I think that my laptop had me automatically logged in for American Express which was gumming things up. Anyway, new game plan worked. So Threepenny had better not be a stinker as I've invested far too much time and energy into getting these tix.

I'm very limited with days I can go this season. So I'm very happy I got £15 tickets for The Three Penny Opera and Plough and the Sea. As the Chekhovs and The Deep Blue Sea haven't put the "last" on the calendar, I am hoping for the next booking period and/or stalking the side for cheap returns and Friday Rush - that in particular also for the Villa. Out of experience Rush Tickets in the Pit are the best Option for the Dorfman. No queuing today. Straight to booking at 8:28.

Angels in America I imagine will do very well. Wonder who they'll get to play Roy Cohn?

It appears that the UK Tour of Jane Eyre that was announced for April to August 2017 will be at the Birmingham REP 4-16 September 2017, so either that will be one of the last dates or the tour has been postponed.
Or it could possibly be the start of the tour as it is billed on the website as "The National Theatre, in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre, presents..." in the same way the King Charles III tour was with the Almeida in September last year. Either way, still quite a long time to wait!
