Oh, and a distant ALW musical will be on at the Other Palace. Like Stephen Ward, the Woman in White or Paint Never Dries.

My adopted home city of Hull will be cultured for a year. Then forgotten.
However on hearing someone mention Matilda is to tour next year, and knowing the RSC is one of the main partners of capital of culture, I want to make an educated guess Matilda will open it's tour and reopen the (New)New theatre following its 18 months refurbishment.

Imelda Staunton gets rave reviews and Follies transfers to London. Waitress goes to the Novello. Hamilton will be a hit similar to Wicked and The Book of Mormon, not sold out all the time but busy. Follies is already in London at the National, think you mean the West End. I have my doubt that Mamma Mia! will be closing anytime soon which makes the Novello unavailable anytime soon. I think the Classic Spring season will go to the Garrick and Marianne Elliot's new venture will be either at the Gielgud or the Noel Coward. The Piccadilly will be home to either Groundhog Day or Strictly Ballroom. Chichester's summer musical is Camelot. The Menier's Christmas musical will be Mame. Angels in America will be a huge hit for the National. Stomp announces its closing because Cameron Mackintosh finally gets approval to turn the Ambassadors into the Sondheim. and finally, parsley will love Angels in America, Follies and Virginia Woolf but will hate everything else and danieljohnson14 will see more plays in 2017 than in 2016 but it will only be an extra 1 or 2 plays and one of them will likely be Stepping Out, (that last comment is tongue in cheek....)

I'll assume that's a prediction that at some point in 2017 somebody will post a footnote.* * Like this.

EP will have to be carried feet first from the BBC to the funny farm 15 minutes into her broadcast; incapacitated by hysterical convulsions after saying the word "Willy" whilst her own version of "Memory" plays on an endless loop until Johnnie Walker takes over. Or did that happen already?

RSC Romans season transfers to the Barbican and sinks without trace. David Lan announces departure from Young Vic. Rupert Goold announces succession plan at Almeida with Robert Icke taking over in 2018. David Hare has major new play at NT "The Tories:They're Just Terrible Aren't They" which gets four stars from Michael Billington who later retires - Lyn Gardner does not get his job. Ahem ..... I TOLD YOU SO .... (I was right about the first one too) .... think I'll make this my final bow.

Stomp will close. Beautiful will close too (sadly). Southwark Playhouse or Charring Cross will do Bonnie & Clyde. Carrie Hope Fletcher will be back in the West End. One of the West End green girls will be in a lead role somewhere. Rachel John gets a leading role. The annoying thing is, alot of my predictions are half right haha. Beautiful is closing, Bonnie & Clyde is haplening in wormshop form, a few of the green girls have roles and Rachel John is taking on one of the important and showy roles in Hamilton haha.
