I had an odd dream last night and wondered if board members have also had stagey dreams.
I was in a pub with Steven Sondheim and Julia Mackenzie walked in. She told SS that she was appearing in a fringe production and wanted him to come and see the show. He said no and that he couldn't be bothered.
Weird.... I thought they were good friends.

Hahaha funny you should post this as I had my first stagey dream ever a few nights ago.
For those that don't know, the last remaining original cast member of Hamilton left on Christmas Eve, Oak that played Hercules Mulligan and James Madison. My dream was that me, him and Daveed Diggs (I have no idea why as Daveed left in July) were reminiscing about the show and leaving it. It took me a while when I woke up to remind myself that I'm not actually in the ensemble of Hamilton. We were also outside a dentists!?
Clearly I'm taking the lack of OBC left in Hamilton harder than I think I am.

I forever have a dream about performing in a musical! I am currently London's longest running Elphaba in my head.

Weird you say that Alec, I had a dream the night before Christmas about Lord of the Rings.
Or I must just been Tolkien in my sleep.

I remember this thread from a while back.
Had this dream last night, the night before seeing Angels in America (Part 1).
I was at the said play in my dream and it was a immersive production and everyone was sitting on the stage at the Lyttelton, it was previews and the director came out before the show begun and told us that the show had a major twist in it, however they're not going to reveal the twist in the play until press night, everyone around me sitting on the floor of the stage were dissapointed and started tutting and shaking their heads.
However this meant nothing until see the end of play 1 eeeek.

I tend to have a recurring post-show dream where the show I have seen that night, I dream about being in that show with a character I have connected with the most... recent productions I have been in have included: - Mimi in Rent - The Cheshire Cat in Wonderland - The Narrator in Murder Ballad - Lola in Kinky Boots - Effie in Dreamgirls - Boq in Wicked - Arthur Kipps in Half a Sixpence - Shirley Valentine in Shirley Valentine ... and yes, I am receiving standing ovations nightly.

haha these are brilliant! I have had the odd stagey dream but not lately.
I do however remember, when I was in Pirates of Penzance (for my sins) waking up in the exact 'hands clasped in front of chest toes pointed out innocent little maid' pose that I spent most of the show in, so clearly I'd begun doing it in my sleep...

This is a pretty boring stagey dream but I'll say it anyway. I dreamed the morning I was going to Evita that someone had posted on West End Understudies that Emma was off and lo and behold she was off that night. Can I predict the future I wonder? 😂

I've had a few stagey dreams, but the most recent one was about the Broadway production in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The production was still in previews and I got a call from the producers asking me to play Willy Wonka, as their understudy wasn't prepared. I then had to, quickly, get on a flight and learn all of my lines on the plane. I then got there about 2 hours before the show and had to use this time to learn the choreography. I performed the part and received a standing ovation, plus a lot of Twitter buzz about my performance. What a strange dream!

I had a dream involving myself and Samantha Barks but this may not be the place to discuss it.

Obviously last night's cassava has sent him delirious. Alexandra Burke featuring heavily in all threads this morning, regardless of relevancy.

I've just read three separate threads where your reply each time has basically been 'Alexandra Burke!' and theres probably more.

That's what I love about this board - finding out people's loves and obsessions. Nothing wrong with a bit of harmless adoration.

I had a slight stagey dream on Saturday night,
Dreamt that me and my OH went on a tour of the Eastenders set (we don't even watch it!) and we asked if we could say hi to Jenna Russell.... My other half then went off and I was left on my own and ended up in a studio to which I could see him and Jenna messing around on office chairs on one of the monitors ?!?!!
Then I discovered that there was a series of Bottom that was going to be released that was filmed before Rik Mayalls death
I must have had cheese before bed......

I had a version of The Actor's Nightmare the night before an interview. Woke up in such a cold sweat. Bit of background - when you go for teaching posts you have to prepare a lesson on whatever they ask of you and teach it. I had been asked to do a maths lesson to a class of 30 mixed ability year 4s (aged 8 - 9.) So in my nightmare my interview began by my being in a building that wasn't the actual school I was supposed to be going to. (Actor's nightmare version - turning up at the wrong theatre but still being made to go on stage.) Next I got lost getting to the class I was meant to be teaching. (Actor's version - being unable to find the entrance onto the stage because the set hasn't been built and you have to use an old one from years ago.) Then I was interviewed by one of The Drifters. !!!!! (Actor's version - discovering you're on stage with a bunch of strangers, not the people you rehearsed with.) And no, he didn't ask me to Come On Over To His Place....! Then I left my bag somewhere and had to go in and do my lesson without any of my prepared resources. (Actor's version - WHO THE **** HAS MOVED MY PROPS? ?) It was truly awful.

I had a weird one last night. Lauren Samuels had decided to give up being an actress and take up being a DLR driver instead (aren't they driverless?) and I was on my way somewhere with Lauren as the driver. She was drinking very heavily so would miss every stop and would periodically slam the breaks on to pause to tell a story over the tannoy about how miserable she's been lately and how all her friends hate her. This carried on for quite some time until an exasperated Lucie Jones ran through the train and told Lauren to snap out of it and stop being such a selfish b*tch and just because Lauren didn't get offered Eurovision, that wasn't a reason to act like a small child. I don't really remember what happened next as I think I woke up, but if this ever happens, I predicted it

Random one last name night, the Prince Edward was sold to Trump and converted into three bungalows. Obama spoke out against the move and Trump made it a crime for anyone in Britain to criticise the renovation.
