Come on then everyone, who got something theatre-related under the tree from Santa? Whether it be tickets, memorabilia or vouchers, who got lucky this Christmas?

I didn't get any stagey gifts this year, but I got lots of money from my parents and Grandma (which I was very grateful for!) so I'll be purchasing the Playbill calendar which I buy every year, and the rest will probably go towards the train in and out of London! Edit: Oh, I tell a lie, my best friend took me to see In The Heights for xmas a few weeks ago, which was brilliant! So generous of her!

I'm the same, I didn't get any specific stagey gifts, but I did get quite a bit of money which will no doubt go toward some stagey doings... and clothes.

Dreamgirls tix. I also got a long wished-for, recently published book by Robert Wagner entitled "I Loved Her In The Movies" about the legendary film actresses he's worked with. At £21.49 from Amazon I was expecting a gorgeous coffee table tome, complete with glossy photos. What I opened was a diddly, thin hardback, consisting of 230 pages, complete with occasional grainy photocopied snaps on rough, crappy paper. Mr Tibidabo said that my face on unwrapping the present showed only a tenth of the incredulity of his on opening the Amazon box! How reserved was I?! I also managed to swallow the naughty words that sprang to mind.....after all, it WAS Christmas! Still, I'll keep an open mind - it might be a good read.....albeit a somewhat short one!
