It's out. What's your view?
Great ad, back on track after last year's oddity.

Just this second watched it. Love it! (Loved last year's too, and didn't find it the least bit odd (or creepy)...)

I hate how John Lewis Christmas adverts have become a 'thing.'
It's OK, a bit too CGI for my liking and an ugly dog. 6/10

I've read some nonsense on this board today, but Buster is NOT an ugly dog. All dogs are beautiful!

It's sweet. Buster is cute and it gave me a much needed laugh after the sombre last few days

Oh I love it!! It's so good and such a nice advert, very good this year!!
John Lewis always do the best adverts, in my opinion, but this one will surely be my favourite this year!

Ad and favourite are two words I wouldn't use in a sentence that doesn't include a not.

Thanks for posting all the adverts. Penguin is my favourite one I think. Need to watch them all again now.

And the 2012 had the wrong song.
Why do silly people make their own videos of the advert. Grrrrrr

I thought this years ad was laugh out loud funny. I've seen it a few times now and despite knowing how it ends, it still makes me laugh.
Still not going to be buying anything in John Lewis though.

Late to the party but I loved it. I mean it's no surprise, give me a dog and I'm happy. But I found it cute and funny and most importantly didn't involve a creepy man peering into windows (or peeing into windows which I originally wrote...)

most importantly didn't involve a creepy man peering into windows But if they can put one paedo on the moon, why can't they put them all there? A valid point. And an excellent solution.

Liked it but I'm normally a fan of a tearjerker John Lewis ad and this isn't that.
Bear and Hare is my favourite still too!

I thought this year was a bit lame. My favourites are Please please let me get what I want and the Bear and the Hare, both of which still make me cry on cue. Special mention to the Snowmen.

The guy from the agency who makes the JL Christmas ad was on the radio this morning. They start working on the 2018 production next week

Didn't they use Hootan's altogether now for one ad?
