Personally I think you should still try and see Comedy About A Bank Robbery before it closes though. Its closing?! How did I miss this news? Well it hasn't been announced so there is no news. I just speculated that it would close when Play That Goes Wrong goes to Broadway. Of course I hadn't bothered to check when it was booking until or when Broadway opened, so it probably won't close. I've been a bit out of the theatre loop. It's why those who assume make an ass out of you and me. |

Bank Robbery announced an extension into April 2017, and with TPTGW opening on Broadway in March 2017, there'll be a cast change at Bank Robbery and it'll continue running!

Would people suggest seeing Aladdin but sitting in the seats up in the Grand Circle or seeing either TPTGW/TCAABR using GILT and sitting in better seats??

I know this has been discussed before but I am in the process of looking at tickets for Christmas and I need some advice - I am the most indecisive person ever!!
It's been Comedy about a bank robbery or 42nd Street (using The Stage Tickets discount). I'm really not sure what to pick. I think part of me is swaying towards comedy more - is that right? I've read mainly good reviews on it and I love a comedy but is this actually funny funny or funny silly because I don't really like stupid things? I'm not overly keen on 42nd street if I'm honest - other suggestions would help too. Like I said I wanted to see Aladdin but tix are so expensive
Someone told me Wicked but I saw that 5 years ago and it'd be nice to see something new?

Now that The Red Shoes has had such overwhelmingly good reviews, I realise that this would have been the only GILT show in which I might have been interested this year, even though the offer applied to Sunday evenings only, which is asking for (even greater) trouble, train-wise. However, of course it's sold out, as are all the other dates and many others on the subsequent tour.

Thank you, Daniel - I did look at Wimbledon and Woking and may have to opt for one of those, but being more central makes it easier to fit in a second play/show and a film. Also, though the Woking theatre is fine (if inconvenient), I really don't like the New Wimbledon much.

After procrastinating about this for ages, I finally booked something.
Was torn between TPTGW and TCAABR but in the end I booked for the first one. Just after researching both and watching videos I thought goes wrong seemed more funny compared to Bank Robbery which could be seen as too silly for me. Annoying though as wanted to see original cast but hey it's swings and roundabouts.
Has anyone sat in dress circle before? Good seats?
