Doubt I'll land a £10 ticket like I did in 2016, though will gladly pay a higher rate knowing how much I like the show now.

I adored this show, saw the first preview and I'll still tell anyone it's the only show in years that I've seen that I think deserved the full standing ovation it got for that first show. I really look forward to hopefully getting to see it again sometime soon(ish?).
I did watch it a couple of times more during its run and for a show that's all about being repetitive it's quite funny that it made you want to repeat the repetitive experience again and again.

They had multiple revolves in the original Old Vic production and after pushing the first preview by a few days had no issues with the revolves for the remainder of the run. The stage for the Broadway transfer was different configurations, so as I remember it things had to be resized, but it was always the same number of revolving pieces. That production was notably riddled with stage issues, but beyond any reassuring investors may need I can’t see why they’d need to remove the revolves now it’s going back into its original theatre. That just seems like they’d be creating more work for themselves, given it all worked perfectly here the first time. They weren’t reliable. That is the point. It plagued the run in NYC so why would they risk it? Really glad Andy Karl is coming back I must say.

It deserved a West End run not a Broadway flop, I'm glad it's coming back to the OV, hopefully improved. Can you believe this was originally here in 2016?!?! Time flies.

OV member tickets on sale this week…..
This is so exciting.
So the thing to decide, oh wise ones, is do I buy the membership so I can book tickets on Friday (at full price I presume) or do I wait til March to get PWC tickets?
Are the £10 tickets in rubbish seats??
Help?!?!?!?

Are the £10 tickets in rubbish seats?? Help?!?!?!? The £10 PWC Seats are every available (ie not sold in the pre-sale) seat in the house for £10. Front row stalls £10, back row Baylis £10. You take your chances in the queue and hope.
I wonder how much excitement there is for this outside of the board to be honest. I'm sure it will sell and do well but are we likely to see this be the show where PWC demand shoots back up to where it was and tickets are so much harder to get? I'm not convinced.

Happy but also sad that it's another limited run. Might they be testing the waters to see it has enough legs for a West End transfer or will this be the only outing?

Thrilled AK is coming back with it. Frankly he deserves to finish out his time with the show with a run that (hopefully) isn’t marred by a serious injury like the one sustained on Broadway. I wonder if we’ll see some other returning faces too? Regardless, I’m excited to see further cast announcements.

I'd like them to use the revolve which they can then keep in place for the inevitable production of 'Martin Guerre' that has been teased by some people on this board... If I keep wishing, it will happen, right?

I'm almost positive between the two of us we can wish it into existence!

It is only a matter of time. Just need to put our minds to it. (Wrong show - this isn't a BTTF thread... Nor even a Martin Guerre thread... It feels like deja vu. Groundhog Day...) There - back on message!

I must be missing something here. I was at screaming point with frustration watching the film, leaving me with no wish whatsoever to see the show, but everybody's raving about it!

I still remember the day my mum said "It was an okay film, but it was a bit repetitive" 🤣🤣🤣

I've never seen the film either. I only booked to see the show towards the end of the previous run, after reading loads of raves about it on here. I enjoyed it more than I expected to. Given Andy Karl is doing it again, I'll go & see it again as long as I can get a ticket that doesn't cost a fortune.

I must be missing something here. I was at screaming point with frustration watching the film, leaving me with no wish whatsoever to see the show, but everybody's raving about it! Understandable. I only watched the film because of Harold Ramis' writing and directing, plus reading about the positive reception the film got as a talking point across a variety of faiths. I'm NOT a fan of Bill Murray, but did enjoy seeing the eventual transformation. This will fall into my maybe list...tell me we don't have to listen to "I Got You Babe" every few minutes...

I remember enjoying it overall and loving the set/staging and Andy Kahl but I don't remember much else from it to be honest.

The film was never my favourite - I re-watched it after seeing the show and came to the conclusion that it works better as a musical.

The film was never my favourite - I re-watched it after seeing the show and came to the conclusion that it works better as a musical. Groundhog Day as a film had always been a personal favorite. And I was excited when I heard it was becoming a musical in 2015... One of my regrets was letting the negative reception it received here talk me out of going and seeing it for myself (that and when I was ready to give it a shot, I believe Andy Karl was out and I really didn't want to pay the ticket price on a coin-flip of a show and understudy) having seen some clips online since I realize it was a missed opportunity. If Aspects of Love turns out to be a revival worthy of taking a trans-atlantic flight, I will definitely take the oppotunity to see Andy in this
