Monday - Oklahoma
Then I have a dry spell for the whole of September and October so need to fix that. It's either feast or famine with me and a lot of stuff I wanted to see, especially concerts, seemed to happen around the same time.

Proposed LNER weekend strikes mean I've got a lot of juggling or driving to do in the next couple of months...

Monday - Hello Dolly again. Third time.
My backstage tour at The London Palladium was this week - 28 of us following an excellent staff member through various areas for about an hour. Many stories about the history of the London Palladium, who played when etc. Bruce Forsyth and Des O'Conner's ashes are interred under the stage with blue plaques on display. I missed seeing the Dolly Train but I was told it concertinas up and lifts into the wings. Choice of cakes and coffee / tea afterwards for a natter.
I did the tour about 12 years ago and recall the backstage (under stage) headroom as being distinctly lacking - much easier to move around now. Previous tour was smaller numbers, from memory, and we were able to have a look at the Royal Box, and walk across the stage (gave my pal a nudge and we did a little dance, so we can say we've danced on the stage of the London Palladium). But worth the (£25?) for a look.

Was surprised with one last ‘Frozen’ today for my upcoming birthday. I had said I really wanted to take my daughter (27) before it closed. My son had managed to bag Magic Monday seats in the balcony. Great view still, but with armageddon levels of infant behaviour. I wouldn’t hesitate to sit here again if it was all that was left.

No, next Saturday I'm seeing the matinee of Come From Away in Bristol then Guys and Dolls in London. Yes, are you going on the train or driving? Getting the train from Paddington to Temple Meads and then back again. Fingers crossed, if they run on time (haha) I should get to the Bridge by 7/7.15...

Best of luck!
