I’m in town for three days and have tickets for Romeo and Juliet (I know—I’ve heard the word of mouth), Your Lie in April, and the first preview of Hello, Dolly. I’m debating what to squeeze in from the rest of my wishlist. Any recommendations help!
Operation Mincemeat A View from the Bridge Mnemonic Two Strangers Carry a Cake… Standing at the sky’s Edge Next to Normal
The only reason Next to Normal isn’t the obvious no-brainer is that I’ve heard it’s expected to transfer to New York (where I live) in the Spring…

Next week:
Monday - Slave Play Tuesday - Mnemonic
Kind of regretting booking these shows back to back. It's going to be an intense couple of days!

Also, they are trying to take it to New York, so you may have a chance to watch it there if/when it happens Personally I really enjoyed 2 strangers, but haven’t watched Next to Normal yet. Standing at the sky’s edge wasn’t much my cup of tea, even though I enjoyed watching it and some of the direction choices on stage, but couldn’t connect with one of the stories and in many moments it felt more like a play with music rather than a musical (which is fine, but not what I was expecting) With so many interesting (for me) musicals in town, I won’t have time for plays on my next visit, but I was also interested in A view from the bridge (+ People, Place and Things and Slave Play) Sorry if I didn’t make things anymore easier for you 😂

Stevie Nicks at Hyde Park on Friday! I struggled with not going to this but I just don’t want to see her outdoors. I’ve seen her solo & as part of FM, but always stage side or relatively close and it’s been such a wonderful intimate experience. Being on the barrier in Hyde Park is still a good 5 metres from the stage and it just wouldn’t be for me.
