ON are getting better at programming matinées but they really need to try harder. i often compalain to them about it - they love me! Regarding the production it was excellent one of the best Cosi's ive seen. Its such a shame they dont want to share it with an afternoon crowd. I've seen more of Opera North in lighter pieces over the years than in "proper" opera because the former are more likely to have matinees scheduled. I enjoyed the production when I saw it in 2016 (with an overnight stay in Nottingham). |

Not much happening for me next week, only 2 shows booked: Before After (Southwark Playhouse Borough) and Standing At The Sky’s Edge (Gillian Lynne Theatre). Both new, so will be a good addition to my list of productions I've seen so far.
