The lure of the TV money...….
We theatre folk have know about him for years of course but the general public will not know his name. It will be incredible for his future profile, theatre work and pay.
The TV audience will see him on Holby City doing Children in Need and be ASTONISHED the doctor can sing!

I envy the cast who will get to hear Ramin and Lee Mead jam when they are not filming. You know its going to happen.

Even he isn't enough to make me watch Holby! I am looking forward to seeing him in Milton Keynes on Wednesday though. Emma Hatton is joining him, and at Cadogan Hall tonight as well. Milton Keynes has Stephensings as support, the young Irish busker who has a good YouTube channel, sang with Ramin as he was passing, and Celinde Schoenmaker. I saw him Leicester Square some years ago and stopped in my tracks, had a chat with him after. Please let me know how he does. Do you know who's is appearing with him in Shrewsbury on Saturday please? (Or where I may find out?)

Sorry, no - there's a Ramin fangroup on Facebook that I lurk, er, look at now and again, and I follow Stephensings, so saw him post on there. Might be worth checking out.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely Ramin last night - warm and funny and with that effortless belt of his. He did what you'd expect (Phantom, LND, Les Mis, Evita) and a few surprises. Emma Hatton joined him for 2 duets. Support was a local duo (Sam and Ben, I think) and Stephen Sings, who was excellent. 35 minutes of support, then interval, then Ramin til around 10.15.

Thoroughly enjoyed the concert in Shrewsbury last night. Has band of keyboard, guitar, fiddle and double bass led to some very interesting versions of showtunes from Les Mis, Phantom and LND among loads of ofher songs of all genres. He has a lovely rapport with the audience. Loved him calling out 2 people on the front row (albeit in a jovial manner) for using their phones.

Ramin's first episode of Holby City airs at last on Tuesday 23rd. According to my listings magazine the new surgeon "causes a commotion..with his charm and good looks". Seems reasonable.

Can't wait! He's going to be the arch nemesis of Jac Naylor and her extra sharp cheekbones apparently which should be fun. And I know he was evil to poor little Dom but the deeeeeeeeeeelicious Marc Elliott is back soon too! I'm going to need to crack open a window during 'Holby', it'll be just too hot.

Ramin Karimloo is so scrumptious! Might have to add Holby City to my Tues night schedule! 😆 Waste of his gorgeous voice though if he doesn’t get to perform as much now!

Yup. I've requested heard that it's written into his contract that each episode has to feature a scene with his shirt off. Or else, I've told them I will not pay the licence fee. Seventeen minutes in..

^The press release is ridiculously over-blown...pretentious,moi? Exactly the same amount of pretentiousness that his character on Holby has. And his version of From Now On is terrible. Unless you like a country music version of it, which I do not.

I don't get why MT performers think that they can sing anything. I listened to the Waving Through a Window teaser and it sounded horrible. Ben Platt couldn't sing Phantom or JVJ, late alone release these songs on an album so I don't understand why Ramin thought it was a good idea to cover this.

Andy Coxon has a good cover of Waving through a window on YouTube
Most of the covers from the Greatest Showman are awful

Ramin sang 'Beautiful City' at the Godspell concert at Cadogan Hall tonight. Such a great voice, effortless as always. While his voice may not suit every song (whose does?), I'm looking forward to the album and seeing what he's come up with. His concert setlist choices have always been great and he's smashed them.

Not sure what is gained by every Tom,Dick and Ramin knocking out showtimes albums yet again...do they sell in big enough numbers to make a profit? Keep seeing CD’s of showtunes from people like Bryn Terfel,Alfie,Martine and all kinds in Poundland.

I love my MT people releasing MT albums. A world without Rachel Tucker/Kerry Ellis/Louise Dearman/John Owen Jones/Ramin MT albums is not one I want to live in, thank you very much. Alfie Boe and Jason Manford can stop, mind.

Man. He killed it at The Best of the West End. The vocal power he seems to generate so effortlessly from his instrument will never cease to amaze me. Plus, the obscene hotness.

For those fans of Ramin here's a video just posted of him and Sierra singing a Jason Robert Brown song.

What an amazing job Ramin did when Singing I Vow to Thee My Country on the Festival of Remembrance tonight. If you did not see it watch it on catch up. Marisha Wallace also performed. It was very moving and a complete contrast to Strictly!
